Laser Saber did a nice review on the LJL. He also does a better
job of explaining what it is and what it does.

Welcome Bob. Since you took the time to sign up to the forum
and research this stuff, I will give you the complete run down.
I post videos to YouTube as I discover, experiment and develop
things. I don't usually take down videos even though they
become obsolete. So confusion results sometimes. But that's
good exercise for the brain.
The Laser Saber video was nice and he is a good friend. That
video is now about a discontinued product because I don't make
that model anymore. It was cool and looked awesome but wasn't
adjustable for people's different bulbs.
Then I discovered the single coil so the LJL-sc came out. Crazy
Guy and others helped explore it further and now the LJL-xsc is
the new best thing. The LJL-sc is on sale at www.lynxwind.com
at the products page. I have been reluctant to sell the LJL
-xsc until it is tested further, but it sure works well for me.
Tell me what you want and I could customize one for you with the
dimmer and the extra diode CG is playing around with.

Those were the Utilitech 7 watt bulbs. They were the first
under $10 LED bulbs.
