It's strange. I tested this out with several other PS2 games and
they load up and play just fine so the Rachet and Clank 2 disc
is still the main element here. I could see if cleaning the PS2
disc scanner and the disc will change anything.

Games Progress
Finished Twinkle Snow's boss a few days ago while trying to get
Rachet and Clank 2 working. I might need to use a disc cleaner
for that one. Also Twinkle Zone's boss is the worst fight in the
entire game because the whole takes place over a bottomless pit;
however getting a gold rank on it is guaranteed due to the way
the fight is designed.
Went back to Faded Crystals. Completed the Strawberry
Battlefield and uncorrupted Ruby and Sapphire, which means that
I now have Garnet in my party. Time to go back to The Great
Desert, get payback on Son of Sun before taking on Pearl.

Games Progress
Completed Sonic Advance 3 with the normal ending. Need to unlock
Amy and obtain all remaining Chao. Got all Chao in Route 99. As
for Flawed Crystals, I defeated and uncorrupted Bismuth. Just
need to level grind and complete the Alpha Kindergarten.

Oh yeah, because I completed Toy Kingdom Act 3 with Tails and
Knuckles, I think? Aside from that, I've got Chao hunting to do,
then I have get these accursed keys just to play a Special Stage
and if I mess up, I have to go back to any of the 3 acts to get
the key again.

I'm considering using a cheat if I ever play Sonic Advance 2
because I've heard a lot about how Chao Hunting is a pain in the
arse in that game.
Games Progress
Made some more progress in the Alpha Kindergarten and I've been
gaining more levels. I'll probably be max level before I hit the
final dungeon due to Lv: 35 being the max level in Flawed
Crystals.

Game Progress
Still in the Alpha Kindergarten. All my party members are Lv: 35
(i.e max level) though unfortunately every keystone except the
green one is lost. I've tried going back to all the areas but I
cannot re-obtain them. I did find a save editor online so I
might see if that works.

Games Progress
Got the first Chaos Emerald then got the remaining Chao in
Sunset Hill. The first one in Sunset Hill Act was a pain in the
arse to get and took me many attempts to obtain. Getting the
second one took me only 1 try while the first one took several.
Played Super Mario World on my 3DS. Finally completed Tubular
(via the Blue Yoshi method rather than as intended), then Way
Cool, Groovy and Awesome. Currently on Mondo and haven't
unlocked the last two levels in the Special Zone.

Games Progress
Stayed up 'till 11:00pm just to finish the final dungeon of
Flawed Crystals. So I took down The Wretched (Corrupted
Amethyst) first, then The Lost (Corrupted Pearl) and then The
Bound (Corrupted Garnet). I then took a detour to fight the
game's superboss The Perfect Crystal which I completed on the
first try, though I used up all my healing and revival items
(posted a related image in the Gallery). After that I took down
The Shattered (Corrupted Bismuth), The Derelict (Corrupted
Bismuth) and The Drowned (Corrupted Lapis Lazuli).
After that, the final boss. I really enjoyed the writing and end
was very heartwarming. Totally worth staying up late just to
complete it. After getting the best ending, I decided to tell
Garnet I wanted to go to Homeworld which leads to another
ending.
