       Games Progress
Umbrageous Light: I went back, got the cutter weapon and
levelled up both weapons to max. I did some exploring, the
Beast's Cave is a dead end so far, and when I tried to get to
the hub area, I ended up falling into the ground because the
area was unfinished. The cliff areas don't have much and there's
an area that I can't access yet. I'm wondering if there is
anything else I can do in the Origin Cave (the teleporter works
just fine with no bugs) or that's it for this mod.

According to the Sectors file (which I found rather
interesting), there is only the Cursed Gateway (14) which can
only be accessed from the Ancient Tomb (06) which is apparently
replaced by Ancient Tomb (13) when certain conditions are met.
Problem is, there is a watery area right of where I found the
Gengenschien which has a tall part that I cannot get over due to
the water physics, leaving me to drown because the draining
oxygen ensures I can't get back to land in time.
In other words, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do something
else or if this really is the end of my Umbrageous Light
       playthrough.

       [/quote]Yeah, it's the end already. Sorry~ ^^"
At the far right area of the Ancient Tomb, there's a blocked-off
area anyway, so even if you used the Ultimate Doukutsu Trainer
to get past the water entirely, you wouldn't be able to go down
       from Ancient Tomb.
The plan, IIRC, was to have a <FLJ sort of thing for all maps
       that lead to Ancient Tomb.
If the flag was not set, you'd go to [006] OC: Ancient Tomb.
If the flag was set, however, you'd go to [013] OC: Ancient
       Tomb.
They're different maps; the [013] one would have a way into OC:
Cursed Gateway [014] which leads to the secret Forgotten Inferno
       area.
I don't remember exactly what the conditions were, but I imagine
it would have involved defeating the Maledicts of Sectors 1 to 7
       and something else.
       So multiple endings, maybe?

I'm not sure if that's a hint to something or a reference to a
       video game.
       Games Progress
Solar Shadow 2: I decided yesterday to try out Solar Shadow 2.
It's much better than Solar Shadow due to having better level
design, though my main gripes are the floaty physics (which make
some jumping sections a pain to deal with) and how despite
having 36HP and a powerful weapon, everything deals so much
damage that I might as well be restricted to taking 3 hits
       before I die.
The bosses aren't too bad and several of the fights (Mossmouth,
Serenity Horton) are actually quite good once I got a better
understanding of their respective mechanics, though the
difficulty is inconsistent. Shadow Maid is easy but then
Mossmouth hits with power and speed suited to a late game boss.
Then the Headmaster is merely annoying and the next few fights
are easy. The Platinum refights are a pain. The Platinum
Knight's arena has a lot of spikes on the floor which greatly
restrict player movement, the Platinum Witch requires proper
timing to dodge her thunder but isn't too bad otherwise, the
Platinum Ogre isn't too bad and the Platinum Demon is awful, and
by far the worst fight in the game. Nought is far easier and
actually requires skill to dodge her stars. Additionally, it's
really annoying that the Save Points aren't right before the
bosses (except the Gold/Platinum miniboss gauntlets and the
       final boss)
After beating Solar Shadow 2 (I obtained Ending 3 and Ending 5),
I decided to try again. Thankfully you can skip Mossmouth by
going through them, then I managed to find the hidden Access
Room in the Elevator by going left through an invisible wall,
then activated the terminal. Magic School wasn't as bad this
time around and I made it to Ice Prison before deciding to take
the upper path this time around. Technology Tower is quite
challenging and I've yet to defeat Death's Head.

       Games Progress
Solar Shadow 2: After some trying, I finally managed to defeat
Death's Head and made it to Sky Platform. Honestly, that level
is the worst one due to poor design though thankfully its rather
short otherwise. I also managed to get Ending 6 due to the laser
door being bugged, meaning that I didn't have to defeat Andrea
(and it would've been too late for me to backtrack to the Moss
Garden anyway). After that, I managed to defeat Demasor after
several attempts and made it to Splendid Tower.
Katawa Shoujo: The scene involves Hanako and I having to deal
with Shizune and Misha, and learning somewhat a bit more about
Shizune and Lily's relationship. I then end up talking with
Mutou before leaving. Noticeable, this is one of the shortest
scenes in Lily's route and one that has convinced me that not
even the narrative finds Lily interesting.
So far, I think Lily's route is one that suffers from the
problem of having every other character but the central one be
far more interesting than she is. To give credit where its due,
it does introduce some concepts from Shizune's route in a far
more organic fashion without being bogged down by overly verbose
prose and filler scenes like Shizune's route, it does endear me
to Hanako even more by giving her some character development of
her own, and it did have a scene where we got to see most of the
main girls (minus Shizune and Misha) in the same scene so
       there's that.

       Games Progress
Solar Shadow 2: I decided to backtrack down the Splendid Tower
and defeated the Gold Demon. Fortunately, defeating it, leaving
the room and then coming back allowed me to skip the other 3
golden bosses. This was useful because I intended to backtrack
to the Ice Prison so I could get the Lv.3 Kleur upgrade in the
Magic School in order to make the last few fights far easier on
       myself.
After this, I went back up the tower, crushed all the Platinum
minibosses (who seemed easier than the last playthrough) and
made it to the top. Instead of Nought, there was Ataraxis. Her
fight is quite interesting because it's an endurance test where
you dodge her rotating instant death beams (and her spreadshot
once she's at low HP) instead of attacking.
On one attempt, I defeated her and died after, went back to the
boss arena where she was absent, I feared that I had softlocked
the game by accident, but thankfully this wasn't the case. I
defeated Ataraxis again and am now at the Hidden Attic. I
haven't defeated Terrah yet but he and Ataraxis are some of the
best fights in the game, far better than Nought in any case.
Ultimate Mossmouth Adventure 2: I decided to give this game a
shot because I downloaded it a while back. It's basically a game
styled after I Wanna Be the Guy, though unlike that game, its
far more fair. The game thankfully allowed me to change it's
control scheme because there's no way in hell I'm using the
Shift key to jump (X was a far better choice). My playthrough is
       on Medium Mode.
The intro chapter (Dark Sky) isn't too bad, though one of the
later rooms was a pain due to the precision required to pass
some of the wallbound spikes. Thankfully there are plenty of
save points so dying is only slightly annoying, and the boss
       fight is pretty fair.
One of the things I like so far is that each character has their
own niche: Knu can double jump, Wonkyth can float, and MVS can
create a block platform. They also have a unique Game Over theme
       and different types of shots.
I'm now currently at Chapter 1, which takes place in a factory.
