Games Progress
Katawa Shoujo: Well, here we are. Reject Kenji, embrace Shizune.
I spent time at the school festival with Shizune and Misha, get
a romantic scene watching fireworks and unlock Act 2 of
Shizune's route. The anime cutscene really makes me want a
Katawa Shoujo anime adaptation. (Also, Shizune reminds of Serene
[Riveria: The Promised Land] and Sayaka [Puella Magi Madoka
Magica], likely because they all have blue hair)

Games Progress
Katawa Shoujo: It's nice to see that I don't need Misha to
translate Shizune now that Hisao is learning sign language.
Kenji insists that I pick up his package, so I do. Shizune and I
carry the package back. More student council work and Misha
wants to be a sign language teacher.

Games Progress
Dragon Quest Swords: After a few attempts, I finally defeated
Edah Sohpix. It's so carthatic to go up against the hardest
superboss in the game and defeat him in spite of his all power.
In regard to the boss fight, you have to refight the Purple
Mirror bosses again: Nomegoen is the hardest of the three with
his super-fast attacks, Der Gib is a joke due to the Bisouka
trick stunning him constantly and Valgirt Nedlog is tough but
doable. The big man himself Edah Sohpix's first phase is
manageable; his second phase is a nightmare due to Figure of
Hate dealing very high damage with it being used several times
and his last phase is an endurance test which I aced by
finishing him off with Absolute Zero.
And yes, I intend to try out Payback Mode for myself.

Games Progress
Dragon Quest Swords: Completed the first 4 chapters in Payback
Mode. It's so cathartic to just speed run the game by utterly
crushing everything with the Deathbringer Sword. It's kinda
annoying that your equipment and Master Strokes don't carry over
but when you have a sword that kills things real quick and deals
high damage, it doesn't really matter than much.

Games Progress
Dragon Quest Swords: Completed the game again on Payback Mode.
My Hero was at Lv: 32 and Fleurette was at Lv: 27. My final time
was 4:13, a total speedrun of the game by utterly crushing my
enemies with the Deathbringer Sword. After this, I made short
work of all the mirror bosses and unlocked the purple mirrors.
Katawa Shoujo: More of Shizune's route. I do more student
council work with Shizune and I learn that Lily used to be part
of the student council and their animosity stems from their
disagreement on how it should be run, more Kenji interactions
and celebrating Tanabata.

Games Progress
Katawa Shoujo: Made it to Act 3 of Shizune's route. Feels long.
Hidaeki is awkward and boring and he just makes me want to see
Shizune (which I'm sure was intentional). Their father Jigoro
makes for an interesting antagonist character and a possible
counterpart to Kenji due to their tendency to go on rants,
though Jigoro has none of Kenji's redeeming traits.

Games Progress
Katawa Shoujo: More Shizune Act 3. Shizune comes into my room,
we make out and she ties me to a chair while I see a picture of
a cooked prawn. Jigoro is an arse but Hisao stands his ground.
I, Shizune and Misha go back to school. Her haircut isn't as bad
as first thought but I still prefer her long drill hair. I get a
letter from Iwanako, learn more about Kenji and his ex and more
student council work.
