King (2.0)'s Games Log

Current games I'm playing:

[li]R-Type Final[/li]
[li]Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor[/li]

R-Type Final is pretty hard and I'm playing it on Human (i.e
Normal) difficulty. So far, I've only made it up to Stage 4.
Stage 1 is reasonable, Stage 2 is bullshit in terms of
difficulty, though it's weather gimmick makes it worth
replaying, Stage 3 is easier than Stage 2 but dear god can the
projectiles get overwhelming sometimes.
Unlocking new ships is fun, and it does give you incentive to
play with different ships.
Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor's graphics aren't too shabby and
the gameplay is similar to Osu. I'm playing in on Conductor
(Normal) difficulty and thankfully the game isn't too punishing
when it comes to mistakes. I think Duck Amuck was better but
I'll give this one a chance and see it through.
I'm also considering playing Lunar Knights but we'll see.

Ugh. You reminded me of a game I can't play... because for
whatever reason the terrain doesn't load for me. So I'm running
around on the void, as it were. :p
But if Golden Sun - Dark Dawn could have its sound issues on the
emulator repaired, then I'm sure Lunar Knights can have its
issues fixed on the emulator too.
I did better on the Aeonian Night Windows 7 PC (got to the
second boss in 2016) though. Now? Not even near a first boss,
haha.
LK was fun, but then, it's probably the cat's doing. :3

That reminds of when I was a kid, it was possible for me to
occasionally fall into the multicoloured void in Spongebob
Squarepants: The Movie Game. That said, I've got all the Golden
Sun games on my silver R4 so I may get to those in the future.
I have Lunar Knights on my original R4 cartridge and I didn't
even have to patch it. Haven't played it yet.
Games Progress:
I've completed every level in Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor
except Can Can (remix). Can Can and it's remix versions have a
lot going on, so losing track of the notes means that you'll
lose quickly. Some of the remixes are actually easier than their
original versions (one of them, I got A rank. I told myself that
I'd laugh if I got perfect rank and while I didn't, it was close
enough that it got a laugh out of me anyway).

Games Progress:
Completed Can Can't (remix) in Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor
on Conductor difficulty. I might consider going back and
completing all levels on Maestro difficulty but I don't feel
like it at the moment. Watching the credits, all the qoutes are
funny outside of them but never have I felt this insulted
before. (I'm not even mad, it's actually kinda amusing looking
back).
Also decided to play The Rub Rabbits. The menu names are weird
but the minigames are good and the music is great. The game's
antagonist looks like Rei Ayanami but with a lavender dress and
grey hair. I'll be downloading Feel the Magic: XY-XX as well on
my silver R4.

Games Progress:
Completed Rub Rabbits which unlocks the Sound Test, Hard
difficulty and Another Story which is played from the
antagonist's side. I might consider completing all missions on
Hard mode but there are other games on my silver R4 and my
original one that I want to play sometime.
There are a few games I'm going to add to my silver R4 (okay,
it's actually grey but silver sounds better). I'll probably have
to patch them because some of the games I want to play are JP
only and I'm kinda scared of patching JP only games because it's
a step forward in the world of modding and romhacking etc.

Rub Rabbits does have rabbit girls but only in the game's intro.
Also the main character is called Rabbit (which kinda does sound
like Rub it, a phrase associated with the game and both him and
the girlfriend do have rabbit ears in the game's ending.
Also thanks for the encouragement. If I can patch some of the
roms I downloaded, then there's more games I could play.

Games Progress
None. Been trying to patch Boktai 3 and SaGa 2 DS. Kinda upset
that I've had no success so I'm trying to see if it's the ROM or
the patch that isn't working. Or if I've been patching it all
wrong.

Started Bangai O Spirits then deleted it off the silver R4
because I didn't like it. Played Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie
BBQ which is kinda mediocre to be honest. Sadly the rest of the
soundtrack wasn't as awesome as the intro theme and the levels
are repetitive. The boss fights are the main reason to continue
at this point.
Played R-Type Final. Got so sick of the last section of Stage 2
that I decided to use the in-game cheat codes to make myself
invincible and fully power my weapons. As it turns out, while
the game is easy because I'm invincible, it's also fun as hell
to destroy my enemies by running into them while also
appreciating the effort that went into the game's graphics. Also
noticed that the game sometimes loves to use cheap shots by
having enemies come behind you.
In regards to that game, I'm just going to focus on unlocking
the different ships and might consider doing all stages without
invincibility once I start unlocking higher tier ships.

Games Progress
While trying to delete Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ off
my silver R4, I found out that I can access cheats for all my
games. So I returned to a childhood favourite of mine, Dragon
Quest Monsters Joker. I used some cheats to spawn any monster I
wanted and to increase the amount of skill points and EXP. I
acquired the components to create a second Grandpa Slime. Then
got 2 Gold Golems and fused them. Fused my two Grandpa Slimes
together and my two Gold Golems before fusing them into a Gem
Slime.
Fused the Gem Slime with an Albast Dragon to create a Great
Dragon. Fused Captain Crow with an Albast Dragon to create a
Tortured Soul. Fused the Great Dragon and Tortured Soul to
create Dragonlord.
I will be training Dragonlord up before fusing it with my
Rhapthorne 2 to create a Dragovian Lord.
I'm planning my new team. Wildcard, Dragovian Lord and maybe Dr
Snapped?
