Serenity's not involved in LSX.
But she's at home with her family.
And the LSProject has - wait for it - many concepts. :P
Including the canon Sea Zone events!
The plot... is kinda confusing though. Not all (planned) works
involve Serenity.
Though, her Taint apparently mutates at some point into a "Chaos
Antipode Taint"?

Hold up.
How's Myst Zone more bugged than Azehr, who is an ancestor of
the Flamberges (Azehrys Chan; it's a crazy story) and doesn't
know it?
And yes, there are over 100 concepts for stuff.

Hmm, where do I start? Oh yes, how about this really nasty bug
in Myst Zone: Blood Garden where if you get the robot's question
wrong (The answer is 55555), the game prevents you from
accessing the next area?
Or the one where if you try to use the Myst: Demise of Nexash
warp door to the Reservoir and then try going back to the Myst
Zone, the game sends you to Servant Quarters RR and prevents you
from doing anything?
Or the one where after defeating Shori, you're forced to deal
with an invisible wall where it's possible to get stuck if you
keep running against it (though you can fly over it and the game
resumes as normal)?

...
I can totally imagine Ichigo Kurosaki's voice shouting that.
Once version 5 gets worked on, assuming Kim feels like it, it
should hopefully be fixed.

Will the Sea Zone also be getting fixed? AuroraDash and I ended
up discussing it at one point, and we've agreed that it's level
design could use improvement. Most of the doors are inaccessible
and the switches for the boss room require such specific steps
that it's easy to mess up or to become lost.

* fast forward to the Sea Zone being replaced by the Annoyance
Zone *
Seriously, though, there's limitations :-/
I'd scrap it since Serenity doesn't visit the Sea Zone in canon,
but it's there for Ignis characterization, or so Kim says.
Umbrageous Light's Sea Zone spans multiple maps, rather than
just one map, but then, we're stuck with ~100 maps.
It'd be easier to remake LS in Game Maker (just not GM4),
frankly.

Looking through Lunar Shadow's maps, I did feel that you could
easily merge several of the maps (even if putting all the
scripts together is tedious). Also regarding Sea Zone, Kim could
just redesign the level and rewrite the scripts (which is what I
did with Taboo Zone because it's original version in Gun v1 was
reviled for it's dull level design and damage sponge enemies).

Scripts also have a limit, but sometimes you have to push it,
push it, to the limit, limit...
CaveEditor is all that works properly here; Booster's Lab
0.4.5.0 does work but we can't add entities on it (and it fucks
up scripts since we use Unicode characters too, which a later
version fixed, I hear).
Java's probably outdated, if I had to guess. :-/
I think using GM means more boss variety and stuff (Ballos gets
old after a while), doesn't it?

Your Booster's Lab sounds broken. The one I'm using is Booster's
Lab 5.0 (with some files downloaded from a later version).
Regarding CS bosses though, from my experiences, it's about
using the existing material in new ways:
For example Gun's first boss War Machine is 3 Monster X fights
chained together, but the second phase uses the <UNI0000 which
completely turns the fight into a bullet hell shooter
(<BOA0400/0500 makes the boss shoot projectiles as it's opening
attack). The final phase is just Monster X but underwater.
Graphical changes also help to make the fights feel new as well.

Sorry for the silly post subject :P
I wrote the BOA guide (not Kim) but never knew that 0400 or 0500
changed the starting attack. :o
Sadly, I'm one of those people who don't feel that way. So the
Tristitia boss (with the epic theme; it's in ZarroTsu's Jenka's
Nightmare) was a bit boring for me. :-/
Kim liked it, though, so perhaps she'll shine beyond the
unexpected? :3
