Unlikely to be in AS; she will be a Routen Band member long
after AS...
Her info will be set in some form of stone... IF... the PC works
and her notes can be created...
The Routen Band having 32 members at some point is fun... but no
more than that... those surnames get pretty ridiculous just to
keep the numerical theme... :-b

UL takes place in the Dataverse (except the epilogue, revealing
UL to be Lunadine Crimstaine's attempt to make a game while
inebriated)...
Sureya is from Gehengard (I hope the spelling is correct,
@Cibryll ), which is not featured in any XSP work currently...
I got the given name from a Turkish-translated-to-Afrikaans
(maybe to English first) series... like how it sounds...
"Sureya"...

I'm not too hot on the idea of Umbrageous Light being a video
game made by a drunken Lunadine. However if you want it to be
non-canon, you could have it take place in an alternate timeline
where she breaks out of the Brainwashing Machine. Or if that
doesn't work, you could make it work like Selenic Shadow where
it's implied to be a dying dream of hers.

UL is canon because spoilers...
[spoiler]
(a) Ilina is a beta tester...
(b) Savannah Nokorikaze is introduced in UL (Anegio's Castle
Oblivion)...
(c) the UL that Lunadine (Luna) made... it is implied that
Savannah edited it from inside the game...
Savannah can enter/exit the Dataverse (she was born outside of
it, in Serenth)... she was nearly murdered by a serial killer,
but fled into her computer (the killer had no idea about this
ability)...
She went to the Galaxynet (Serenth's Internet) and wound up in
Luna's PC...
Savannah is the female Elemental Royale of the Data element...
who falls in love with the mysteriously crazier woman who was
going to murder her, but as Savannah has no idea how to react to
it... she acts crazy...

... All that was Cibryll's doing... and some details may be
incorrect as that is what I recall...

So it's canon? That's good. And I suppose it'd be nice for Ilina
to get her own game considering her role in Lunar Shadow ZER0
and Lunar Shadow.

Not in canon, not in fanon, not in non-canon...
(Three different classifications for XSP works...)
Her role in LSX is to be off-screen, being Tirahnys's eighth
president...
That said, there are plans for her and Selena Daria teaming up
in 2015 (post-LS) to kill Mi'aro (he dies in April 2015, I
think) so... she still has hope...
(A dream team... a woman with three fairies, and an Elemental
Royale of Light who is also an ex-president...)

Ilina doesn't have to be canon. Perhaps if Selenic Shadow ever
gets updated, it could have Ilina Horton and Shinica Horton as
playable characters. If that doesn't work, perhaps the Lunar
Shadow Memories series could make them playable.

Ilina's existence is canon...
Selenic Shadow was just to make sure Cibryll's skills did not
rust (I worked on the majority of it, but had her do things as
well)...
Though now, both our skills are rusting away...
Shinica would be playable in Selenic Shadow, but since we made
it all up as we went along, it is hard to say for certain...
The LSM trilogy have their own protagonists already...
Original Ilina, original Ilina... how original are you to be
playable...?
(The best she currently has is being cosplayed by Kyaro in
Apocalyptic Shadow... and the Umbrageous Light version of
Ilina...)

I never said her existence wasn't canon, I just said that her
appearance in game didn't have to be canon. Ilina being a
costume in Apocalyptic Shadow fits that description whereas Data
Ilina would probably be a different character altogether
depending on how UL plays out.
Also it's funny that Selenic Shadow was created to test
Cibryll's modding skills because that's how Gun started out.
Regarding SeSh, I figured it was a dying dream world of sorts
considering Selena Daria's dialogue, Grie'dyr: Thunder
resembling one of the areas in Myst Zone and several of the NPCs
appearing there.
It's possible that Shinica may've been playable considering she
has a full sprite sheet like Selena and Shinica but also has an
alternate costume. Not sure how she would've factored into the
story though considering Selena dies and Shinica's story is
currently unknown.
