So MOTHER 4 got rebranded as Oddity, huh? I think it could
surpass MOTHER 3 in terms of visual greatness. Hopefully the
story will be great as well.

Completed Super Metroid and my second Shin Megami Tensei IV
playthrough (Chaos). Super Metroid is pretty cool and is one of
the best SNES games I've played (via New Nintendo 3DS), though
the final boss (Mother Brain) is really easy. I'd say the real
final boss of that game was the 2 minute time limit in the
game's escape sequence.
Regarding SMTIV, beat the game on the Chaos playthrough which
was easy considering I was on New Game Plus. I also made it a
point to fight the Demiurge and complete the Clipped Wings DLC,
both of which were thankfully far more challenging than the main
game. Once I return to that game, I'll do a Law playthrough and
consider raising the difficulty level to prevent it from being
too easy this time.

Replaying Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker again. Turns out that
it's much more fun when you remove the tedium of level grinding
and make the event monsters encounterable.
With all the games I've downloaded, I might be covered for the
next few years.

Very covered yes. Good because it's coldernell outside.
In terms of Dragon Quest Monsters Joker, I'm going to build up
my new team, level them up a bit before taking on the tournament
on Xeroph Isle and Solitarie again. As for which game next, I
don't know.

As of late March 2023, it will no longer be possible to make
Nintendo eShop purchases for the Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS
family of systems. They're not shutting down, you'll just be
unable to purchase anything else.
Also, as of May 23, 2022, it will no longer be possible to use a
credit card to add funds to an account in Nintendo eShop on Wii
U or the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. And as of August 29,
2022, it will no longer be possible to use a Nintendo eShop Card
to add funds to an account in Nintendo eShop on Wii U or the
Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
(However, it will still be possible to redeem download codes
until late March 2023.)
Dammit Nintendo. What does this mean for Pokémon Bank, I wonder?
EDIT:
From Serebii:
Today, Nintendo announced that the Nintendo
3DS and Wii U will close their eShop at the end of March 2023.
With this, The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon Bank
will be free to use when that happens, though new downloads of
Pokémon Bank will no longer be possible. There is presently no
end date for the free service
Well, that's something at
least.

That sounds really fucking bad. I won't be able to purchase
anything from the eShop anymore. Dammit Nintendo, how am I
supposed to buy things like a good capitalist citizen if I can't
even buy things legitimately?
