Hope Stelar, come on out and help with that! :P
I kinda posted a progress report in the Square Enix thread... :(
But all this running around is causing more annoying running. Or
"laddering", as the British English term...
(That's how it feels like, at least...)

All that backtracking is a real pain, isn't it? Especially in
Star Force 2 with it's high encounter rate. Also player vs
player matches still exist for SF2 and SF3, turns that all I
have to erase my WFC profile on the in-game settings and change
primary DNS to certain DNS. I'll have to try that out for
myself.
Here's a handy tutorial for console/PC gamers on how to access
WiFi battles ('cause the official WiFi servers went down years
ago):

I just beat Sirius.
"When the five stars shine together, you two and Earth will see
your final days!"
Turns out dummied out cards exist in Star Force games, too. Like
a red Cannon card (1), nameless cards (1; I think two of them
are Lunar Knight characters of the Boktai-world?).
Then there's blue-name cards (2 and 3). From 3, I found some
like "ImpctCanon", "ApolloFlmX", GenAurigaX" and
"DragonSkyGX"...
(I used an all-cards cheat just to see if there were dummied-out
cards, but didn't save.)

I already know about the unused Lunar Knight cards, turns out
they're related to the cut Lunar Knights sidequest. Also in Star
Force 3, there are cards known as Illegal Cards. They're
powerful cards which can be obtained if your Noise Level is high
enough and are named in blue to differentiate them. They're very
useful for the post-game bosses.
Hopefully, you'll have an easier time getting Sirius v2's card
than I did. Let's just say that having to obtain that card from
Sirius v3 is utterly painful. As is obtaining both Apollo
Flame's v2 and v3 cards. Also Crimson Dragon SP is much harder
than it's regular self.

Wait, so illegal cards are blue?
Wow.
Guess Geo really broke several laws then. JUDGE!
* cut to Geo getting a red card and being sent to jail *
...
What would his FFTactics job be, anyway? "Hero"?
Sonia... a Bard, I'd think.

Their text is blue, though some of them (e.g Spade Magnes X or
Cygnus Wing X) have darker colour schemes to differentiate them
from their original counterparts. I've heard that Rouge ZZ
drops them often, hence why I'm fighting him.
Also the MMSF characters as FFTactics could make for an
interesting Crossover. Here are some class ideas:
Geo/MegaMan [Squire/Onion Knight], Solo [Dark Knight].
Sonia/Harp Note [Bard/Cleric], Bud/Taurus Fire [Monk/],
Luna/Queen Ouphica[Dancer/Mystic], Pat/Gemini Spark[White
Mage/Black Mage]

Have... we ever gotten Dark Knights in an FFTactics work?
Also, I cleared FFTactics A2 and its missions, and all I got was
more credits. :|
Oh, I wanna see more of planet FM. And the Sages.
* holds blue card *

Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions added in the Onion
Knight and Dark Classes, which the original game didn't have.
Hopefull Star Force 4 will actually take us to Planet FM,
considering we've never gotten to explore it. Also, having the 3
Sages (Dragon Sky, Leo Kingdom and Pegasus Magic) back would be
great, even more so if we could fight them.

Even better: all three of them AT ONCE.
War of the Lion?
* roar *
Why not War of the Tiger? :-/
I take it there's no female Humes, other than
story/quest-related ones or NPCs, in a Tactics game?
I like the Gria though...

I'd be down for that, though the fight itself would be very
difficult if all 3 Satellite Admins were in their SP forms
(yeah, and I remember the fights against Dragon Sky SP to get
his SP card. At one point, I did get his SP card and the game
froze on me. At least I got it eventually).
Though chances are, the game would probably just make us fight
each Admin in order of ascending difficulty.
Besides, it reminds me of all those hacked MegaMan Battle
Network fights where the fights consisted of fighting several
bosses at once or custom made bosses.
