Wouldn't that imply that Aidan somehow manages to survive the
events of Lunar Shadow X (unless the events in that story are no
longer set in 2017)?

I heard about Romhacking.net going down. Such a shame too that I

talking about (Steamboat Willy) Mickey Mouse becoming public
domain.

Visions of Mana released yesterday.
And apparently NetEase is shutting down Ouka Studios, the team
that had made that game?
For f*ck's sake this shouldn't be a normal thing.

Ugh, that sounds like yet another odious business practice that
large companies use to justify not having to pay their employees
more than what they're legally obligated to.

Okay seriously WHAT THE HELL
Physical releases are now becoming just boxes with codes inside?
That--
That's like making a book with only the spine and cover, and
inside getting some or other code which you have to use to read
the book online or something.
Completely defeats the purpose of owning something physically.
Also saw someone on blue bird complaining about a pride flag in
a game (that they pirated). On one of the tweets of the
creators, no less.

These developers seem to think that discs are obsolete and that
digital is the future. Problem with that is that once the
content (exclusive or not) is inaccessible, you can't buy it
anymore unless you pirate the game, which these companies are
trying to prevent.
Also I like your metaphor regarding physical books, because it's
something I could actually see companies like Amazon or Ebay
actually do within 5 or 10 years knowing society and it's want
to digitize everything.
