We could never get that sort of RPG Maker XP to work,
unfortunately.
Of course, if we could, Charlie would probably have started on
her quest for fan game madness.

Let me guess: Either filesize limits or the program refuses to
open unless you use "Run as Administrator".

Ugh. I hate activation codes. Wasn't downloading the file
already enough? But no, companies like Adobe expect you to have
an activation code on top of already having to pay money just to
have the most recent version of their programs. Thank goodness
for being able to download free versions off the internet!

The freeware version of BreakQuest still requires an activation
code, as well, although it used to be non-freeware.

I disagree with the stance that emulation itself is unlawful
considering that most Nintendo games people emulate are ones
that Nintendo themselves no longer make profit from. In this
case, Nintendo are still profiting from Nintendo Switch games
and are losing money, but even then it's only wrong legally, and
that there is nothing wrong with emulating video games.
Hell if anything, downloading old games and playing them is far
better than buying them because the only thing you're spending
is time and if you don't like the games you downloaded, you can
get rid of them without having spent any money or having the
game take up any physical space.
