Hello. I'm Shane

I'm Shane, the founder and main administrator of the Vresun:
Ciraian Ruins Forums (of which Kim is also an administrator of).
I'm from Gansbaai, South Africa, and I'm fluent in Afrikaans and
English. I turn 19 on 25 February 2015.
I have a cat named Simba, whose tenth birthday is on 10
September. (She's my current avatar, though that photo was taken
in 2007, if I remember correctly.)
I'm also a member of TV Tropes (my troper handle is
ShaneBaneNeumann) but I have a fear of editing works pages
(among various other fears, most of them fairly weird).
My favorite color is green, my favorite food is pizza (though I
haven't had any since late 2013) and hotdogs.
For some reason, despite being 18, people either tend to think
I'm older than that, or younger than that.
I am also very literal minded.
I'm one of the creators of the fictional language Present
Draconian, along with Kim.
My favorite TV shows, anime, etc. include Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!,
Naruto, One Piece, Monsuno, Monk, Wipeout (the TV show with
those obstacle courses like the Sweeper with two people, both
named John, being the hosts).
My favorite video games include Cave Story, La-Mulana, Pokémon
(mainly fangames), Peggle, Quest for Glory and The Battle for
Wesnoth.
I am usually very, very lazy. (If not an understatement of
that.)
I also have chronic depression issues, sadly. :-\
People tend to think that, when I'm not being random, I'm
depressed.
Also, as South Africa is currently going through an electricity
crisis, I most likely won't post here a lot (possibly being even
rarer than a shiny Zekrom or something).
The few times I'll post here might be days without rolling
blackouts.
