       I could incorporate that into The Mastermind's backstory, if
       that's okay with you. In his adolescence, his city Nitriba was
       attacked by a primitivist group intending to set society back to
       the dark ages. They were defeated, though it stuck with him and
       is one of the many reasons why he so strongly believes that
       society must embrace the future.

       A character in a wheelchair... who can fight somehow.
       But then, they get up and all kinds of epic curb-stomp battles
       ensue as a result.

       Not really. In Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, Stephen fights
       you in his wheelchair in his first phase. Then he gets up and
       proves to be the strongest boss in the game, making YHVH look
       like a Jack Frost in comparison.

       Nope. Stephen is fought in the DLC Quest: Messiahs in the
       Diamond Realm, which allows you to have the protagonists of the
       first 4 SMT games as party members. Sadly, they can't join you
       in the fight against YHVH.
       Oh. You were referring to the party member in this RPG? Probably
       not, unless you level them up to Lv:99.

       Then you fight Level 9999 Shinobi Panthera Reappeared whose
       Zero's Lament skill kills everyone in one hit, causing an
       instant game over. He only appears in the game's true final
       dungeon.
