       Unofficial Walkthrough (with spoilers)
By: Lunaris Date: February 1, 2015, 12:50 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I'll try to make a guide for the most recent version; it'll be
       quite handy.
For obvious reasons, though, it contains spoilers about hidden
       items.
Each location, on its first entry, will be in its own post; I'll
place links to those posts in this post when the posts exist.

       ENTRANCE:
Start the mod. Watch or skip the intro cutscene; it seems not to
make much of a difference at the moment.
Basically, some man decreed that Newerth's inhabitants will die
on 15 January 2015 and the protagonist has about ten days to
stop that from happening. (This is from memory; I skipped the
       intro.)
Head left, above the door, and search the area for a hidden Life
       Capsule (+3 HP).
If you go further left, you'll get a message asking you to
leave; if you choose "yes" you basically get sent back to the
       main menu.
Go right and get rid of the monsters with Invidia. Continue to
your right, until you find a way to go to the top - follow the
       blocks.
When you encounter a wall with a weird octagonal foe, shoot it
and stay away from it (as it explodes after a 5-second
       countdown).
Continue right, and take the Life Capsule (+3 HP).
Go back down, then right (fall damage isn't a thing, so you can
       just jump off that height).
Keep going right, until you find a pathway that goes up; there's
a bat nearby a stepping stone.
Go up there, but be careful of the critters, as one of them is
close to the edge at the top.
Go to the right (there's currently nothing useful to the left,
unless you want to kill monsters for XP).
When you find a way up, go up, to the right, to find a save room
and a Warp Door; take it back to the Entrance for a handy
       shortcut later on.
Return to the save point "Entrance SP" (preferably the shortcut,
unless you want to go through most of the Entrance again), then
go collect another Life Capsule (+4 HP).
Make your way to the top-left of the room, then kill those
monsters. Be careful not to get crushed by the two moving blocks
       in the room, though.
Go to the top, where you'll find three bats and a sign post,
along with a Life Capsule that you can't get. Or can you?
Get rid of the two star blocks near that Life Capsule, then jump
into the bat at the opportune moment; if you did that, you'll
get knocked a bit higher so that you can make it to the Capsule
       (+4 HP).
Now, go all the way back, and go through the corridor under the
save point. Go down as soon as you can, and fall to the lowest
       point in the room.
Get rid of the star block and monsters, then take a moving block
up to find another Life Capsule (+5 HP).
Carefully return to the corridor from before, then go right,
past the two hearts (you can collect those if you're injured).
Move on forward for another cutscene, where a blonde girl
teleports in and summons a boss...
       [hr]BOSS FIGHT: Xyz
       Form #1:
As Xyz has been confirmed to have a second form
  HTML http://lunarshadowcs.createaforum.com/lunar-shadow/sprites/?message=39,<br
/>I will list this as a form.
Just spam Invidia whenever Xyz opens up; its attacks including
firing a lot of... spinning things before it sinks back into the
ground (at level 3, you can potentially deal up to 352 points of
       damage on Xyz).
Once Xyz's health reaches a certain value, it will change
patterns - it will fire less of the spinning things, and jump
around instead of sinking into the ground.
The spinning things that are only whitish in color can't be
       damaged by any means.
Eventually, Xyz's 400 HP will run out.
       Form #2:
As this form doesn't exist in version 2 of Lunar Shadow, no
information can be posted about it at this time.
[hr]After defeating Xyz, go to the left (there's nothing useful
if you go right, at the moment). Keep going left, and go down at
the first opportunity. Then, go left, then down again.
Eventually, you'll leave the Entrance area...

       LABORATORY:
Immediately shoot the star block, and go left to find a Life
Capsule hidden somewhat by the status bars (+3 HP).
Then, go right, shooting the monsters. The next room has a horde
of them, so be wary of that.
After that room, the next room you'll encounter will have a
cutscene soon, with a witch. If you haven't killed Xyz before
coming here, the dialogue is a bit different; regardless of
that, the boss music begins... only to stop when the other witch
shows up. This scene seems to foreshadow a dual boss fight
later, and the smaller witch mentions a "Sycor".
Go to the top-right of the room, but do not shoot those Energy
Capsules. Instead, jump on them and go to the left to find a
Life Capsule (+4 HP). After that, you can shoot the Energy
Capsules to your heart's content, though only one drops any XP
at all (and it's just two points).
Go right again, but be careful of the enemies here; the large
orb will, on its death, cause the other smaller orbs to chase
       you.
Go down, avoiding the rolling foes (they're invincible) and then
to the left. (Laboratory spikes are harmless in version 2.)
Kill the two Critters, then ride a moving block to the top
(without getting crushed), then go left on another moving block.
Open that treasure chest to find a Crescent Moon. It has been
confirmed that Invidia will be taken away in version 3, the
Reservoir area, so it's best to level it up.
Now, go right again, then down, then right (following the
platforms) and up (in the middle of the room). There's a Life
Capsule in the top-left corner (+5 HP).
Go down then far right to find a save point and a Warp Door!
Take it, then go to the door and enter. Go left; if there's a
force field barring the way you probably managed to get past
Laboratory I without seeing the witches cutscene.
The only available treasure chest contains a Life Pot - this
will fully heal you when used, but only once. If it's blocked
off with a force field, you haven't killed Xyz yet. Take it.
While you're there, go to the highest point of the room with a
door, then try to jump at the right. Talk to the girl with the
scarf there; she'll tell you that if you can find a third
unobtainable Life Capsule, she'll give you another Capsule... if
       you can't fly yet.
Return to the Laboratory, and save.
Go up immediately after going left from Laboratory SP (Save
Point), and you'll find yourself in a room with strange green
       and orange stuff.
Head far right for a witch to appear and a boss battle starts:
       [hr]BOSS FIGHT: Sycor
Immediately when the boss fight begins, head right to avoid
getting hit by shockwaves that cause bones to fall. These bones
do give XP and hearts when shot, though.
While its face is open, you can get in a quick shot or two with
Invidia, as its face is vulnerable to damage.
The dark green things can be ridden on as though they were a
moving platform, which comes in handy - go to the far left of
the room, in the center, preferably.
Note that the dark green things might turn orange (and thus,
       non-solid).
Now, the second and third times it opens its face, SHOOT IT A
LOT. With this face, it will move around while firing weird
objects at the floor and ceiling, which will cause shockwaves on
impact that go in your general direction.
When it opens its face a fourth time, it will have a different
face - smiling, while the orange things surrounding it will fire
spiraling energy blasts at you that are indestructible. With
that in mind, dodge it while shooting it as much as you can. It
will repeat this pattern until it has a certain amount of HP
       left.
When its HP is low enough, it changes its attack patterns a lot.
It has a new face (and fires three spiraling orbs at you), and
will start spamming the weird objects non-stop. It will also
fire three powerful energy blasts (they deal ten damage, while,
if you obtained all those Life Capsules, means you can take
three direct hits if you were at full health), though these will
       be in a straight line.
When you finally defeat him, you'll be able to move around
(though unable to open your inventory) while Sycor explodes.
[hr]Heal up (save points restore all HP when used) and go to the
       right of Sycor's room.
You'll immediately encounter many energy blasts (they deal ten
points of damage); time carefully to avoid getting hit. Continue
on your right (there's an invisible floor so you won't get
killed by the death traps)... and that's about it for version 2.
