♥ The Grand Jesting of a Seymour of Darkness ♥
By: Ariana Date: November 2, 2016, 5:02 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Please note that the following is (supposedly) in jest. Take it
all with a grain of salt (or several), but be careful not to
take too much salt. I just felt like doing something silly, for
once. Hopefully it lifts a dark cloud or five from this forum,
in the name of peace, friendship, and happiness! Oh, and comedy.
Of course, Etna would probably throw a Prinny at it and blow it
to smithereens. You have been warned that this is (supposedly)
in jest, by the way.

With that out of the way, it's time for the pics.

/>here we see Nega-Lime Karjam near a ring, and the Purple Karja
m
watching. Above them, in bubbles, float Tia and Mat, though
their markings are not blue. There are also hearts and stars.

Here we have random text and whatever. :P
We see Nega-Lime Karjam before and after putting on the ring
(though, whether the markings of Tia and Mat would normally
appear on his face I don't know yet; I'm assuming it would even
if assuming is a bad idea).
Tia and Mat are controllable by those who wear the ring.
Combined, they are Tiamat, daughter of Marshussu and Martablilu
of Iquarox. Their fusion form looks like a mixture of the two.
The dragons, too (though that last one is real creepy, with four
legs and two foreclaws).
I have no idea how Yoshiro or Blue Karjam would look like in the
sprite form, so I didn't add them. I apologize!
We have several characters - PK, Serenity (after Lunar Shadow's
events), Shinica (around the time her Late Taint activates - she
keeps her empty eye open, though), Ilina (also after the events
of LS; though she's no longer president due to being kidnapped
in Lunar Shadow ZERO that I still can't upload to MediaFire),
Lunadine (former enemy), Alexis (former foe), S.D. van der Merwe
with her Volt Cannon from Lunar Shadow ZERO, a "Haze" (no I
don't know what those are), an unknown being that looks a lot
like how Dianke imagines a Netherblood Sivleren Fairy to be…
three of Evan O'Neill's fairies (Evan was Serenity's father
before he was killed by Aidan Flamberge; the fairies are
apparently in S.D.'s possession). Oh, and Serenity's cousin
Valerie, a former minion of Aidan Flamberge (except she hated
it; she appears in the Sea Zone of Lunar Shadow even if its
events aren't canon in the mod), the two Armweak siblings, Eris
Calibur, Hiranya Mitsuru, Martel Aar (both of them appear in
Selenic Shadow at least), and Valkyrie Horton (after the events
of Lunar Shadow - in the best ending, which has not yet been
made; she's the mother of Serenity, Shinica and Ilina)… oh, and
that mermaid who appears in Lunar Shadow's Reservoir (with a
star, sun and moon orbiting her). Wait what? :))
And some more blah-worthy text, because I felt silly!
Also, Alexis' outfit is based on this one
HTML http://kimtyranto.deviantart.com/art/Alexis-von-Ventus-528869132,<br
/>if I'm not mistaken. That's pretty cool, because I never knew
Kim was that skilled at spriting such a difficult outfit! :o
Guess I need to Take a Level in Badass when it comes to
spriting? :P
#BringBackEveryonesSmile
Bring it back! Bring it back!
#BringBackEveryonesSmile

If nobody smiles, everything is sad!
Sadness is ill-fitting for a wonderful world!
#BringBackEveryonesSmile
Bring it back! Bring it back!
#BringBackEveryonesSmile
Bring back everybody's smiles!
…
I got carried away~ :P
Here ends my jesting. PK and NLK sprites made either by the late
Shane "Isliota" Neumann (25/02/1996 - 30/08/2016) or the late
Eric "the Eternal Darkness" van der Skyff (?/?/? - ?/04/2014).
Most other sprites either by myself (Valkyrie's new sprite;
human Tia, human Mat, their human and dragon Fusions; the ring),
Dianke Smith (that Sivleren Fairy? Maybe Shana too?) or Kim
Tyranto (the rest).
…
Rest in peace, Shane. You will definitely be missed. I don't
know about Eric, but Karina probably misses him despite his past
deeds.

...I don't know about Nega-lime's Sprites. When I said
"dark-skinned", I didn't mean, "make him resemble dark-skinned
people in real life".
The sprites of PK and Nega-Lime also don't account for their
most recent appearance. (In case you're wondering, Nega-Lime's
default outfit's the same as PK's, while his hair resembles a
combed-back smart look - he needs to look charismatic to help
him with his charms). Then again, I'm not blaming whomever
really did make those sprites. They were made before the
official designs came to be.
(In case you're wonderimg, I have a hunch that those sprites
were made by TED, not Shane. Still calling him that unless I
happen to remember his real name.)
Well, the sprites were from before 2014, I think?
For all we know, they could have decided to have their
appearance change to their previous ones~
But if you'd like, I could attempt to update the sprites to
their most recent appearances! (Just give me… an indeterminable
amount of time. I don't know when I'm able to work on them.)

Or, I could see if I could do it myself, perhaps by creating
sprites entirely from scratch (as bases are not my forte).
Just give me the sprite sheets and I'll see what I can do. (No
promises, however. I am already overwelmed with lots of
different focusses that I want to do.)
That could work too. :)
Well, Nega-Lime Karjam replaces the Doctor (uncrowned), so he'd
be always facing -> , right?
(Nega-Lime's current sprites are 16×24 pixels, while Uncrowned
Doctor looks to be 16×32 pixels.)
Nega-Lime Karjam (with the ring) replaces Doctor (crowned), so
he'd be facing left? (Although, Aidan Flamberge, from Lunar
Shadow, replaces the Crowned Doctor as well, and he faces right
instead.) (24×32 pixels.)
His sprites have the markings of Tia and Mat (the red marking
around his right eye and green marking around his left eye), and
he wears a blue ring on his left hand. (The same ring that
allows the wearer to control Tia and Mat. )
He'd probably be a boss as well? (A final one, perhaps~ I should
really plan things out.)
Purple Karjam replaces Jenka (16×16 pixels), though.
(The other characters - such as Tia, Mat, Serenity, Shinica,
Ilina, Valkyrie, an unknown girl - use the other major NPCs from
NpcRegu&#8230;)
Although Toroko, Itoh, they aren't replaced yet. :o

idea of a flower dragon princess~
TED = Eric van der Skyff, brother of Lynn van der Skyff
and Karina van der Skyff (though Karina wants to "force-feed
Lynn into surrender", whatever that means).
The best way to solve this conundrum would be to simply&#8230;
go through the personal messages at the Dragon Riders Planning
Forums. This assumes, of course, that you and the spriter
corresponded through personal messages regarding the sprites.
Into the Unknown was made by Eric, until Shane came and brought
an end to that, which led to version 2 (Destiny's Tears
subtitle) being worked on by Shane and myself (as "Taylor
Smith").
However. The Purple Karjam also appeared in Hope of Shané:
Frost. Shane never worked on that, at least to the knowledge of
those of the DRP Forums. Nega-Lime never appeared there.
&#8230;
Damn the Internet seems lonely without Shane.
I take it Ariana is working on this thing to "honor Shane's

Ghhhack!!
You ninja'd me!
Just use NpcGuest. Here, I even went and made an edit to
NpcGuest with all the characters that are non-harmful NPCs (so I
removed Chinfish, those running green Plantation foes, and
rocket, as well as unused NPCs).
HTML http://lunarshadowcs.createaforum.com/gallery/lunarshadowcs/0/17-031116095429.bmp
Granted, they'd just act the same as other NPCs who use that AI.
(ASM hacking would be needed, I believe, for new NPCs - so if PK
could join whoever is the protagonist against the foes, then a
new NPC would be required, I suppose.)
Basically, if they go in NpcGuest or something similar, they're
going to appear in multiple sprite sheets if necessary. That's
how I see it. (Of course, I don't see Valerie in NpcRegu that
Ariana posted. Or some of the other characters like that
mermaid.)
Also, Ariana? I see you replaced Kazuma and/or Sue at a computer
with a character. They would be blinking unnaturally fast,
however&#8230; just so you know.

[li]The sprite artstyle and resolution chosen for PK meant he
couldn't be depicted within the default outfit for him. Still,
did what I could.[/li]
[li]Redone the markings on Nega-Lime's face in an attempt to
properly portray what you said about them. Hope you'll like
it.[/li][li]I gave PK and Nega-Lime brown eyes to help better
match their official design. If you prefer the green eyes,
shouldn't be too hard to edit them over

(such as the Gaudis or those orange guys in the Plantation)
could also work. If they are assigned an event ID and pressing

… Is it "Chaco" or "Chako"? I think it would be

If you prefer the green eyes,
shouldn't be too hard to edit them over
theirs.[/li]
Anyway, I'll use it if Ariana's okay with it.

Thank you thank you thank you! :D
[li]Actually… that thought never occurred to me. ^^;
I just opened up both the PNG and the NpcRegu.bmp file. Deleted
everything that isn't PK or Nega-Lime from the PNG, copied that,
pasted it into the BMP, and saved only the BMP, but not the PNG
(in case I missed something there).[/li][li]I see! So Blue
Karjam would wear blue shoes, then?[/li][li]How would that be
hand-waved into a lampshade?[/li][li]That I do! :))
Thanks~[/li][li]Isn't Blue Karjam's eyes green? Or was it
Yoshiro with the green eyes?[/li]
I'm okay with it! :)

I seriously thought this was a thread to watch Ariana take on a
knight in a jousting contest.
