This reminds me of some of the Special Stage mods for Sonic
Mania, which involved a playable version of the UFO enemy, a
Chao Emerald and a bird.

I read a post somewhere that suspects Sonic will be getting a
new form, if Super Sonic is needed to deal with (some, or all?)
bosses.
Getting the Chaos Emeralds, mandatory? That's a surprise to me,

Super Sonic being used for boss fights was dismissed as a fake
leak early on but it seems to be real now. I'm kinda hoping we
see Hyper Sonic make his debut in the 3D games, though a Dark
Sonic form might be interesting.

Sonic Frontiers has gotten a lot of great reviews, with a lot of
people claiming it to be one of the best Sonic games in the
franchise. Honestly after the last few games, SEGA could really
use the good publicity.

For what it's worth, its nice that this show remembered the
Blue/Black Tornado moves or that Shadow isn't just an edgelord
rival. Hopefully the third Sonic movie will do Shadow's
character justice.
