Aidan was revived exactly two years after his death in 2015.
On 15 January, his castle, too, came back, eviller than ever. A
nuclear power plant on the Cypher continent was destroyed by
Aidan, too. By September 2017, 2,144,796 were confirmed dead
from that...
And the Valkyries can't get near the castle due to a nerve agent
that only affects Valkyries. But...

On 4 February 2017, seven girls from Perchance Village come, one
putting a temporal barrier around the castle. So time's stopped,
basically.
Once the barrier fades, Shinica (in a biohazard suit) can come
to help.
They destroy the Lunar Shadow together, but... Amariss leaves,
not able to face her friends after almost killing them. (It's
why the temporal barrier faded.)
Amariss takes her own life in late 2018 but canonically gets
revived by a freed Kim Ethnarch.

By Mi'aro I presume? Also if the Lunar Shadow Castle returns,
does that mean all the bosses in Lunar Shadow come back or are
they replaced with all new henchmen?

Which would mean that time is stopped in the castle but not
outside of the castle. Though if that were the case, that would
mean that everything is either frozen in time or time simply
stops moving forward in the castle. So in this game, the Lunar
Shadow Soul is actually destroyed and the entire game happens
because Serenity Horton doesn't destroy it in the True Ending
(due to fighting Nemesis and Invidia).
And Amariss I take it is Kim Ethnarch's undead servant in
Apocalyptic Shadow?

The Lunar Shadow revived Aidan and the Lunar Soul Castle, which
has different foes. Not even Tranquility shows up. Mi'aro is
already dead.
The temporal barrier stops time, freezing everything outside,
and stopping time from advancing inside, according to Kim's
notes.
Nobody knew about the Lunar Shadow entity - only Aidan
Flamberge.

Amariss is also revived after the defeat of the evil Qwertyuiop,
so no, not an undead servant of anyone.
Apparently, her jumping off the Eminent Arena of the Apocalyptic
Moon Tower on Newerth counts as a death caused in the tower.

Ah right, so this Lunar Shadow entity (which I doubt will get a
Soul form) somehow resurrects Aidan and is pretty much Chaos
from Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow hence why the castle is able to
return. The temporal barrier is something I'm trying to make
sense of considering that you stated that one of Amariss's
friends put the barrier up around the castle which would mean
that time doesn't advance in the castle but anything outside of
the castle (in the barrier) is frozen in time. Unless of course
the temporal barrier freezes anything outside the barrier in
time which means the entire planet is frozen in time during
Lunar Shadow X.
Also if Amariss kills herself by jumping off the Eminent Arena
(unless she intended to fake her own death) and is revived by
Kim Ethenarch after Qwertyuiop, then that would mean that it's a
foregone conclusion that Kim Ethnarch's possession by Ethenarch
doesn't last.
Unless of course all of this is just potential concepts for the
mod and that the actual Lunar Shadow X is quite different.

Ah, but unlike the Lunar Shadow, Chaos wasn't created by Aidan
using something called the Pandora's Box. Also, Repose's Taint
is a lot like Soma's power, haha. :))
In LSX, everyone outside of the barrier is frozen in time, as I
understand it.
And the canon best ending for Apocalyptic Shadow is to defeat
Qwertyuiop, freeing Kim Ethnarch.

So everyone in Tirahnys (as I understand it) is frozen in time
while the only beings that can still move are within the castle?
So that would mean Aidan has Amariss mind controlled to kill the
girl who put the temporal barrier up because Aidan and his
henchmen can't leave the castle without being frozen in time.

and apparently, that makes it possible for Aidan to mind-control
her if they're in the same room.
Kim says that ability's why the Dark Armour bad ending exists in
LS.

So not because the armour itself has corruptive properties?
