       Solar Shadow (version 1.5 out now!)

       So, I went on a ridiculous game development binge and spent
       about 21 hours on this over the past two days...
       Fan favourite, Selena Daria van der Merwe, has woken up in the
       middle of the woods just as night is falling. She has until 3AM
       to get out -- if she doesn't, she'll be cursed forever.
       And maybe some dark secrets will be uncovered along the way...?
       It's pretty short, but there are 6 endings.

       Sorry about the music (there's only one song), I am suffering
       from a rather nasty Windows 8-related screwup and my computer is
       glitching out and GM8's sound system is pretty much broken to
       oblivion :( I will need to use GMS for my next game.

       I have played it and I'll make pros and cons review
       +[font=Verdana]Time system. Really nice[/font]
       -No save points early into game. make it something like VVVVVV
       with a save point every 1 or 2 rooms. Especially with the
       freefall spike rooms.
       -In the first part the tiles are... dull. And non-differential.
       -Backgrounds are just non-exiting to watch.
       -No walking animation.
       -The physics are too strange. Walking speed, jump. ect.
       -The .exe cannot be closed for some reason.
       Although I listed more Cons than Pros. I hope this early review
       does not make you feel depressed and make you abandon this
       project, but rather inspire you to do better. This has potential
       but it needs more work than just 2 days. I know you can do it
       properly. :)

       I considered save points, but I wasn't sure how to make them fit
       in with the time system. I'll see what I can do. Legend of Grey
       Moon, one of my earlier games which is very similar, has save
       points, but it's also a lot harder. The physics and some of the
       backgrounds and tiles are from it as well. The rest are from
       Misery of Magic, which probably won't ever be finished at this
       rate. I could probably make a walking animation if I had access
       to Serenity's, do you know if it was posted anywhere?
       It can be closed by hitting escape from the main menu, btw.

       Okay, finally got around to it.
       Solar Shadow 1.5 out now! (Use the same download link)
       -- Added savepoints -- dying no longer ends the game, but the
       clock keeps running when you do so
       -- Added walking animations
       -- Fixed the special effects in ending 4
       -- A couple very minor changes to level layouts, you probably
       won't even notice them
