       Connecting to a Network Drive

       How to Connect to a Network Drive
       A network drive can be used as a way to communicate with a
       server, or just to make a fancy shortcut on your computer. This
       tutorial will show you just that.
       Step 1: Accessing My Computer
       Click on the START button on your computer. If you are on
       Windows 7, Click 'MY COMPUTER' on the right hand side of the
       menu. If you are on windows 10, type 'PC' into the search bar
       and hit enter or click the first result.
       Step 2: Mapping the Network Drive
       Now we need to create the network drive. To do this, you need to
       RIGHT CLICK on the white background anywhere on the page. You
       will be greeted with a menu with the following options: View,
       Sort by, Group by, Refresh, Paste, Paste shortcut, Add a network
       location and Properties. Click on Add a network location. A
       dialogue box will appear on screen.
       Step 3: Choosing the network drive location
       Now we need to choose the location in which we want our network
       drive to refer to. Click the 'Choose a custom network location
       button and then click next. If you know the name of the server
       or folder you wish to connect to, type it in. If not, click on
       BROWSE. You will be greeted with your Network. Double click on
       the NETWORK folder and wait for a list of all the computers
       connected to your network appear. You can now choose your server
       / WB Server computer. If you are trying to map a folder on your
       computer or another computer on your network, click on the name
       of the computer and enter any usernames / passwords if required.
       Now click on the USER Account that the folder is located in.
       Once you find the folder, click on it and then hit OK at the
       bottom of the dialogue box. The network path will then autofill
       in the box. Click NEXT to continue.
       Step 4: Choosing a name for your network drive
       Now you need to pick a name for your network drive. This is the
       name everyone will see when they click on the network drive, so
       I recommend to make it appropriate to the folder you are
       mapping. Hit NEXT once you have completed this step. Now click
       FINISH.
       You have successfully mapped your own network drive. You can
       access it by going to MY COMPUTER and then clicking on the name
       of the folder.
