Strange markings

I've been seeing alot of (urban?) markings around the place.
They are very bold, hard lines overlayed onto signposts, walls,
windows etc with circles sometimes attatched. I normamly notice
most of these nearby places where there are birdwatching sites.
I used to think they were gang tags or whatever but since I've
been seeing them while travellign I'm in another mind about
them.
Thoughts?

I've seen these also. Usually in a dark ink, I've seen them near
nests and other birdwatchers but they are very different when
found near dogs or traintracks.

Seen them. Honestly I thought perhaps the writing was something
really old but with the texts I've checked I have no other
references for them. I've passed as much info as I can to a
friend who works at a university (I'm not willing to say which)
and they're putting together what they can from as many sources
ass they can. When I get something more solid I will post it
privately for you two.
Also welcome Celestialdragon.
Would you be willing to post or to mail me privately with your
symbols. Sketches of them would be a great help in finding out
where they come from. Don't bother taking photos, assuming
you've not already tried.

Definately, anything for the cause. Just as soon as I can find a
place with a scanner or something.

My grandmother told me they were messages from higher beings to
us. Something only the faithful could see.
It was a little difficult for one such as me to truly accept,
being an athiest.

I seen a few about. I know what some mean, more or less. Next I
see I'll write it down so you boys and girls know what you're
looking at.
The Asian's gramma knows though, deep down you're a believer, in
somethin anyway.
