Bulldogs - asserting dominance

Stocky breed, big jaws. VERY aggressive.
Tips for putting them in their place
- Do not reward them with treats, you don't need them sniffing
around for leftovers
- Don't let them get away with marking their territory, this is
man's world so remind them
- Don't be afraid of a few cut and bruises
- Don't be soft, silver is good
- They're smart so don't give pretend they aren't

Any tips for dealing with wild dogs? ??? I stumbled onto a pack
of them that were going to town on some goats. Wasn't really
sure what to do, they didn't really pay much attention to me,
but you never can tell with an agressive animal. :'(

Never show fear, boy! Press on!! If a dog thinks for a moment
you aint afraid it'll wonder why and that's all the advantage
you need!
But never corner a hound. That's a sure way ta get bit!

Freeman's right. These are smart creatures but that doesn't mean
they won't act just like the animals they are. You corner a
beast like that and it'll take the only way out even if that
way's you.

I wish there was some way for those of us who aren't dog
handlers to deal with them. I can barely stand to be around dogs
(Allergies)

You must simply master steel yourself against this effect. Only
a strong will can overcome such things.
