Lesser spotted welsh mallard

Seen three night's in a row entering the large abandoned hotel
near the swansea train station in south wales. Last entered with
two companions, left alone.

We watched the place from across the street but there wasn't
much to see. Some ducks have a sixth sense about that sort of
thing. We'll keep a bit more distance tonight.

;D We cought a glimpse. It took a while but the little guy
turned up with another two friends.
Unfortunately it was attacked by it's natural predator. We burnt
the body. The two friends flew away to safety so that's some
good news.

Shame about the duck. Rare to find them in that part of the
country, could have learnt allot from it.
Any idea what it was doing there, maybe there are more of it's
type there?
