I played this and two of our cats came to the door of my room
and sat listening intently... also it was our two females - the
       other four are males.

That is interesting, coldwar. My cat, Wasko, occasionally
watches television. He seems interested in birds and the sounds
of wild animals that he is not familiar with. Sometimes he
watches out of boredom or before he is going to sleep. I
suspect that he curious why we are looking at the big box of
sound and images that we call a tv rather than paying attention
to him. So how it goes! ;D
Animals do sense the workings of nature in ways we do not do so,
such as the sensing of incoming earthquakes and the like. There
is a existential grounding into the fixedness of things that
they have that we do not share. We do not share in these
sensings which is a great pity.
       Peace be with you!
