       Salvation~for all or for some?
By: Mike Date: December 3, 2014, 2:53 am

If you were in a remote part of our world, racially isolated
from 'civilisation', speaking a language other than English,
without education to inform you about other peoples and their
religions, and consequently died without ever reading a Bible or
       hearing about Christ,
       a) would every member of your race be tormented in hellfire for
       eternity?
       b) would some or all end up in God's New Jerusalem?
       c) and if the answer is 'some' then what would determine the
       distinction?
Such a situation in not utterly hypothetical so who is bold
enough to answer those three questions?
And do they draw you towards universalism or towards separatism?

I think if any of it is to be believed, then all will be saved,
even the serpent will see. In the end the serpent will realize
that the best way is Love. He will be raised from slithering on
the ground like a serpent, he will earn his wings, and once
again he will fly with the angels! God needed the serpent in
order to get mankind to reach its full potential. Once he has
achieved what it is God has set forth for him to do, he too will
then be enlightened. Otherwise IMHO the serpent got railed.

[/quote]I agree very much. Isn't this what Jesus meant when he
compared himself to the serpent on the pole that Moses made?
       "If I be lifted up. . . . " I'd say Adam and Eve got a raw
deal if the only reason the serpent was there was to tempt them
to sin. I think the whole purpose of Eden was for them to
"take up the serpent" without harm. They were supposed to tell
it what to do -- for its good -- not listen to it and become
like it. Eden wouldn't make sense to me without the serpent in
       it.
The redeeming of the serpent energy is what it's about. I
believe the spiritual body requires the serpent energy in its
proper form. We all have the serpent energy; but most of the
time, it's wasted on useless activities aka "riotous living."

Messiah and serpent, by the way, both have the number 358.
Yes, the serpent must be restored to its proper place if we want
to be healed ourselves. The Greeks knew it; and we see this
       symbol in doctors' offices:
  HTML http://www.clipartbest.com/cliparts/Kij/edy/Kijedye4T.png
The round part at the top? A star or sun.
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of
righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go
forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
We all begin tiny as the mustard seed or a grain of sand; but we
grow and grow and become stars. This is the reason Abraham was
told his children would be like the sand and like the stars.
Jesus hinted at this too by comparing us to oysters who produce
pearls by building them up layer by layer. The poor unclean
oyster is annoyed by the grit that gets into his shell; and he
lives in the muck. Out of all that, he produces a fabulous
       pearl.

Personally I incline towards the belief in a distinction
between, on he one hand, those who respond by worshipping God
based on their response to such as God reveals to them and, on
the other hand, those who worship other Gods and/or images made
       by their hands.
But it's only an inclination and, just as Kerry quotes Malachi
4:2, so too I would quote Jeremiah 1:16 in conjunction with
       Romans 1:17-25.
On the other hand I often ask myself "what chance have I if
       there is be a distinction".
BTW it's good to be chatting with George once again.
