The parable of the Man who cried wolf!

---------------------------------------------------------
I was going to post an old parable the Lord had given me about a
wolf, and I coudnt find it. I will eventually rewrite it and
post it, but decided that for now, I would post this new one
about the man who cried wolf.
There was a man who belonged to a group called the Jehuites.
They loved to secretly find those people who considered
themselves Godly and look to find
if they truly were or not. They would bring ruin to those who
were false, and it was rare that they didnt find some falsehood.
But they lived secret
lives themselves, often lying to keep their group secret. Many
of the group had gotten to the point to where they enjoyed
finding falsehood, more than
they preferred to find the good in others. But the man was
different. He felt bad about the lies he crafted, and he
actually hoped that the men he
and the others tested and laid traps for would hold true and
give them hope for righteousness still flowing in the earth.
Not many new members ever
made it to join the group, except the few self righteous ones
who failed the test mostly but not fully. And they used the
faults, the secrets they did
find, as a threat to the new members not to reveal the nature of
the group. The Lord loved many of them, for rooting out many
of the false prophets
intent on leading astray the good sheep. But many more had
become like pharisees, just wanting to look righteous in the
eyes of those around them. They
eventually came to a man of God, and began testing him, to see
if he was a false prophet or true. God told the man of God
about the Jehuites in general
not giving the man of God too much information. While being
tested over years, the man of God came to like some of the
Jehuites. He despised the lies
and failings of them, as they didnt live up to their own
standards for those they tested. Never the less, he came to
love some of them for the kindness
they did show to many around them.
But the group didnt understand the nature of lies, how they
subvert over time those making up the lies, even if the lies are
for a good purpose. Like
the boy who cried wolf, eventually the lies become harder to
believe, until the devil showed up in the form of a wolf, and
when the boy cried for help,
all believed it was just another lie.
The man of God wanted to warn the man who hated the lies he
regularly told, to hold onto the truth from this point onward,
and only lie if the Lord
guides him to for some specific situation, otherwise his lies
will find him out, and the man of God didnt want that to happen
as he did love the man.
The man of God knew he was faulty as the other men around him,
just that his own sins hadnt become common knowledge, and he
loved those who repented and
attempted to live a life of Godliness. But the man of God knew
that the people of the group werent allowed to admit the nature
of their group, so he
prayed that God would either warn the man in a dream or reveal a
way that he could successfully warn the man.
What say you readers? What should the man of God do? Trust
God to grant him one of his two requests or just tell the man
the message, knowing the man
will deny it, perhaps hardening his heart to the matter?
