Here are some of the comments by women about this commercial:
I find your commercial re SAM very distasteful - I have a 14
year old grandson named SAM and I would NEVER purchase your
product.
I was offended as well, am no prude. I think it's extremely
distasteful and insulting as a woman. I'm not in need of your
product but would definitely choose another brand if I do find
myself in need because of this marketing.
Shame on you stooping so low in order to appeal to a younger
crowd. The people in my crowd won't buy this product. How are
parents supposed to watch TV right after dinner with children
with this kind of blatant message being pushed? It's backfiring
on you!
With all of the sexual connotations coming at our children in
movies and on the radio, I find it morally offensive that the
powers that be at Poise would allow this on TV when children are
watching. If you wanted to catch the attention of 14 year old
boys and girls, you got it. Too bad they don't need Poise pads.
You missed the boat on this one and I will never purchase any of
your products. By the way, I use mini pads and have the money to
purchase them. I am your demographic audience. You must have a
teenager in charge of advertising.
DISGUSTED!!!! I have a young grandson almost 4 years old who
lives with me.............he questioned me and I honestly didn't
know what to say other than...........this is a advertisement
that shouldn't have made it to the television !!!!

Hi all,
Thank you so much for your feedback on our commercial. We
intended for this commercial to be seen and interpreted by
mature women who might experience Light Bladder Leakage. Our
research shows that most women are receptive to messages that
take a lighthearted approach to Light Bladder Leakage, but we
realize that not all women may have the same opinion with
regards to this intimate topic. Again, thank you for sharing. We
hear you and are keeping your feedback in mind for future.
All the best,
Melissa at Poise

That video blocked comments; but another one at You Tube drew
mostly irate comments. I think it's stupid as well as
disgusting.

I'm no prude, but I felt uncomfortable....I am glad so many gave
negative comments back. It should be pulled off.

SAM (Super Absorbent Material) does seem effective when she
pours the water. And it is thin. How does it compare to other
brands?

Makes you wonder what it was like in the days before Noah?
