Hello all!

Just a little about me. I'm not ashamed to say I am 56, and I
grew up in a Navy family that moved all the time...(I was in 3
different schools just in 4th grade) so I lived in or have been
to many places from Hawaii to Conn....and Canada to Mexico...and
then Europe. My extended family tells me that I've done too
much and know too much for my own good...well, maybe that's
true...and I used to 'bout apologize for it as well...but it is
a part of me.
I was in a children's theater company in San Diego as a kid and
was in stage plays. I also learned how to 'hula' and was in
Hawaiian shows when we lived over in Hawaii when I was in my
teens...and was also a professional clown in my 20's and was in
a troupe that traveled the Midwest...as well as another drama
company here where I live now. Have also catered Authentic
English Tea Parties and served at them wearing vintage garb. I
moved and attended a fine art school after graduating HS in CO,
then became a Christian shortly after that in '77 at a church
that came out of the Jesus movement here in the Twin Cities.
Then I lived in what would be considered a 'Christian Commune'
for about 1-1/2 years....then after moving out attended a 5 week
bible-boot camp...with calisthenics at 6 am and everything!
I moved to California in '84 and went back to school in '85 and
then taught/directed in early childhood and elementary education
for 32+ years and then in 2011 my 1st children's book about
bullying was published. I recently left an abusive marriage and
because I also consider myself an artist I plan on going back to
school this fall for a Fine Arts degree. :)

What an interesting life Jella - and you sound as if you are one
very talented lady. All the best as you moved forward with your
art. I have always admired artists, me I can only draw stick
people and paint walls - my creativity comes out in other ways.
How exciting to have books published, now that I would love to
do. I did write one of the healing process ( Called ' The
healing onion ' becasue it was like peeling back layers, often
brought tears, but added so much more to my life ) Its sitting
on a shelf, unfinished !
The tea parties, as an English person, well I have tea in a
mug, without cucumber sandwiches with the crusts taken off = I
think I would be classed as ' common ' in the UK !! LOL
What part of Europe did you live ?
I am also 56, I am a twin. As children we were pushed together
all the time so by the time we had to seek independence we were
co dependent on eachother. My world fell apart when my twin
joined the army. He eventually settled and married a German
girl, and we adapted and became independent.
I have four children, was married for 27years but due to
continuous adultery my marriage ended 7years ago. I use to work
in a bank, then had a complete career change and worked in the
pathology department of the local hospital. Then I went back to
the bank for a year. I left to become a mum. I was a stay at
home mum, but supported the elderly and working mums with
cleaning and helping round the house while my children were at
school.
I also worked in local playgroups, and became craft coordinator
for endless children's holiday clubs ( usually church run ) and
my favorite was the craft coordinator at a mother and toddler
group.Me and my closest friend prepared and planned crafts for
35 under three years old's every week. Sadly it was voluntary
and as both of us needed to be earning money as our own children
got older, we had to leave the job.
I became a christian three years into my marriage, or should I
say ' God called me' at that time, my husband remained a non
believer - this often caused a big divide between as I grew and
changed - and yet on the other hand without God in my life I
would not have survived the difficult marriage.
I am currently working in a care home ( residential, nursing
and living with dementia )
