       Could Jesus Be Black?
By: coldwar Date: May 3, 2014, 9:21 am

I hadn't noticed this before, but when you read in Rev. 1:
14"His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as
snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like
unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace.."
We tend to picture Jesus as a white man, with hair that is
perhaps loose and curly ("Jewish" looking), or even very long
and straight, parted in the middle, like a hippy. But it is
black men and women who 's hair is "like wool" - that is,
tightly curled and kinked. Also, if his feet looked like burnt
brass, this would be a very dark colour.
I have been looking into this lately - check this out:

^ I've run across these people who said this on another forum.

If you see a spiritual being with white hair and blue eyes, it's
someone from the ethereal plane. A few have violet eyes, but
most are blue. Even black people on the ethereal plane have
       white hair and blue eyes.
I had a vision of Jesus once -- almost like that -- but I only
saw him from the chest up. White hair and blazing piercing
eyes. I was not ready for it and I felt as if his gaze was
burning me away, and I sank down almost at once and returned to
       my physical body.
Helen told a story once about seeing an angel (or maybe two) as
her father was dying. She said it had white hair -- and that
told me it was a being from the ethereal plane. Someone had
come to meet him. She had no idea why it had white hair; but it
told me she wasn't making the story up;.
The people who put out this theory that Jesus was black are
       black themselves.
I did not see Jesus' feet; but they are burning like brass
because that is where earth is meeting heaven. At Sinai, when
God manifested, it was with lightning and smoke.
Beings in visions often have different parts of their bodies in
different planes. Nebuchnezzar's vision had the head of gold,
       etc.
Daniel 2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and
his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
The same principle holds true of the description of the
       "locusts."
Revelation 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto
horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were
crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
These are mostly Leo traits. Gold is the sign of Leo the lion.
But their faces are like the other cherub the man.
8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were
       as the teeth of lions.
The hair is ruled by Leo. Then lions are explicitly mentioned.
So this "head" is a mixture of the lion and the man -- the
       Sphinx in some perverse form.
       9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron;
and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of
       many horses running to battle.
       Iron is ruled by Mars.
10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings
in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
Scorpions of Scorpio. The cherub is the Eagle, but the negative
       manifestation is the scorpion.

Jesus was a Jew and Jewish are not black.
It is just common sense that He was not black.
Besides, Jesus is a spiritual being now. He does not have body
       like us.

^"Jesus was a Jew and Jewish are not black.
It is just common sense that He was not black."
Well, one thing I am sure of is that the "Jews" in Israel today
are not the same as the Hebrew race of the bible. They are of
Ashkenaz - converts from the Middle Ages. This is very well
attested to, and for the longest time, I used to think people of
European decent were the real "lost tribes of Israel", and that
Jews like Michael Douglas, Goldie Hawn, Barbara Streisand,
William Shatner, etc. (blonde hair, blue eyes) were genuine
Israelites, whereas those in Israel with swarthy "Arabic"
features are of the "Thirteenth Tribe" (title of an excellent
book by Arthur Koestler who is Ashkenazi himself). But now I'm
not so sure. If you watched the video clip I put in above, there
       are questions such as
"if Moses was hidden by Pharoah's daughter in Egypt, and
Egyptians, being of Ham-ish origin did not recognize him and
have the baby be-headed, then Moses must've looked the same".
Jesus' family went into hiding in Egypt for the same reason - to
blend in with a people of Ham-ish (African) features
Paul was mistaken as an Egyptian (Acts 21:38) - today's
Egyptians look a lot like today's Ashenaz Jews, but in Jesus'
day, Egyptians still looked like Africans.
Race doesn't matter - I realize that there are white
supremacists who think they are of Israelite "Identity" (so
their movement is named) and that this idea of black Israelites
has become a "Black Identity" movement. It's a question of
       interest.

Well, I had come close to believing this, because both the
Ethiopians and Egyptians were sons of Ham, and therefore, I
assumed, both would be black skinned. Further, as in so many
cases, Israelites were mistaken for Egyptians, or had
deliberately hidden themselves among Egyptians to avoid
detection, then they also must be black.
However, this verse seems to refute this:
Jer. 13:23 "Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard
his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do
       evil."
Here, the Ethiopian is singled out among Israel on the basis of
skin color. The Israelites might very well have looked like
Egyptians, but Egyptians did not necessarily look like
Ethiopians, in spite of being of the same lineage, from Noah's
       son Ham. Something to ponder.

I must run off to work...but hope to get back here tonight...I
haven't the time to read it all yet or watch the video....only
       read the subject line :)
No, Jesus could not be black...we would have been told so. Even
Josephus would have mentioned it..and so would many others. I
think He was a boring looking regular Jewish guy that melted
right into the crowed and culture He was in.
Nothing in the scriptures reads that His ancestral linage were
       black.
       Must run now....H

Well I have finally watched the video and read the thread...good
       points :)
Kerry mentioned the night my dad died.
A black Jesus and white angels? Ummm who knows..I still believe
God would have shown us much clearer if He wished to and did
express Himself as a black person. I have never heard of black
angels, though there again I have never spoken to a black person
       who has seen angels.
Jesus was the revelation of God, so if Jesus is black then God
       is black.
       Hebrews 1:3
( Jesus) Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express
image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of his
power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the
       right hand of the Majesty on high;
Someone, in maybe this thread or a different one, mentioned that
Jesus is spirit and nothing like He was on earth ( or words to
that effect) I personally believe that Jesus is the first
spiritual man to enter Heaven. I believe He is a radient form of
what He was on earth..GLORIFIED! ( as seen in the Revelation)
But, that's just how I see it.
So, maybe we have a black God but white angels, but I doubt it.
The four I saw were white and HUGE!
Thinking back on that night by Kerry's prompt, I now wonder why
they didn't take my dad right then.
( for those who don't know...the doctor told us that dad would
die between 'tonight' and Friday. For 6 weeks I had been
attending my dad, up at 4am and with him constantly. That night
in bed with my eyes close , muttering to Father to take my dad
home..with my eye shades on...I 'felt' four angels. I 'saw' one
at my foot, one at Davids foot, one by the side of the bed, and
one over by the open door. I knew they were there, and I knew if
I opened my eyes ( and took off my shades) I would see them! I
       did , and they were.
I pushed up on my elbows and looked through my dads open door
into his room...all I could see was a bright white cloudy mist.
I had no idea how many angels were in his room. I knew they was
going to take him Home 'tonight.' I turned over and went to
sleep , so happy they were looking after dad and I could rest.
This was 10pm...when Kerry reminded me of it today..I wondered
why they didn't take him right then!!
At 1'am I was woken up with dad banging on the wall for me. ( he
wanted his box of kleenex...I had no 'feeling' of angels present
       and everything was 'as normal')
I kissed him and told him to try and rest and not worry as the
       angels were here for him.
About 45 mins later I woke up knowing for sure that he had now
gone....and when I checked him, He had.
This morning I was wondering why so long between 10pm and
       1:45am!!
One thing comes across as a strong message to me...whether we
"feel" the other realm or not, it IS right HERE with us..not
       millions of miles away.
If He 'opened our eyes' we would see it...it's here.
Now what all that has to do with God being black, I have no
       idea!! :D
       .........H

Personally I believe that God is what he is, differently to each
       individual.
So to a 'black' person God will be 'black' (how more conceited
can you get than to insist that to a 'black' person God must be
       'white'?)
Likewise if you are a legalistic and penal type of person, God
       will be legalistic and penal.
And if you are loving and forgiving, so too will be your
       perception of God.

Good point Mike..I didn't remember that...but it says 2 Samuel
22 25 "Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my
righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight . 26
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful , and with the
upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright . 27 With the pure
thou wilt shew thyself pure, and with the froward thou wilt
shew thyself unsavoury ." That is pretty clear!!
Plus with the Talents...he says to God " I knew you were are
hard man etc.." God says back to him..if you 'knew' that why
       didn't you..."
" For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be
       measured to you again ."
Ouch that is scary, unless our eye is full of love , mercy and
       grace as His is!
