Unprecedented Christian Revival in Africa

Revival Breaks Out in Land Once Hostile to Christianity
9:30AM EDT 4/7/2014 George Thomas/CBN News
A Christian revival is touching the northernmost reaches of
Africa. In a region once hostile to the gospel, now tens of
thousands of Muslims are following Jesus. As the sun sets over
the Mediterranean Sea, Muslims across Northern Africa are
converting to faith in Jesus Christ in record numbers....Pastor
Salah leads one of the largest churches in Algeria. Some 1,200
believers attend the church, and 99 percent of the population is
Muslim.....the arrival of satellite TV and the internet have
dramatically changed people's perception of Christianity....
"What God is doing in North Africa, all the way from actually
Mauritanian to Libya is unprecedented in the history of
missions" ...

This is good news indeed. It o confirms for me what I saw in the
spirit about a highway across the northern part of Egypt that
needed to be opened. The people in those countries are tired of
state religion being forced on them. Many are good Muslims, but
they don't need religion shoved at them. People are also tired
of the abuses committed in ignorance but attributed to Islam.
Once people get a taste of freedom, it's hard to go backwards.
To be sure, I expect some kickback from radical fundamentalistic
Muslims. We see that in Egypt now where they fear for their
own existence and are trying to stir up other kinds of troubles.
But I pray their day is done. Some have criticized the
General there who's running the country; but he may be doing the
right thing although it looks brutal. Being brutal all at once
and getting rid of as many bad eggs as you can -- and then
stopping -- often works. When people see you have stopped, they
know they're safe. If you had wanted, you could have had them
killed too; so they feel safe and stop wanting to rebel. I am
praying that is what is going on in Egypt. If it is, the whole
of Africa may benefit.
Speaking of Africa, I saw Justin popped back in. I wonder if he
has any news from Africa? Some of the central areas are still
dangerous now.
