I have arrived

Well I returned from my daughters birthday visit to the Polish
death camps at Auschwitz and found a jolly email from Runner
telling me this site was all systems go.
Unfortunately the bad news concerning our lease meant there was
much work catching up to do.
I never got to the site, then when I did, no sooner had I
registered than I was called away once more.
Suffice to say I wish all a hearty hello and look forward to an
interesting year.

Well , well , well...there you are then....glad that you made
it!!
Hope Rachels trip wasn't too gruelling...why don't you tell us
all about how it all impacted you..or not, as the case may
be...The Lounge is a good place to chat to us about it. ( at the
bottom of the main page)
I know I went to some place once when in UK...where they had all
the photo's, clothes, implements etc
It was in very dimsy rooms ( like even dining is, where one
can't even read the menu)
I thought that was overkill, one came out totally
depressed...which is what they were aiming for. My depression
didn't help those who died one bit.
Did you visit anything "happy" while there?
Anyway, glad to have you on the site.

Hi James
Sounds an interesting trip- my twin brother lives in Germany ,
my Grandfather was one of the first soldiers to go into one of
the camps when liberation came - he returned with my brother
about 20 years ago. I have never been, although I am going out
to Germany next april.
Sorry to hear you are having problems with your lease, are they
solvable problems or are you in danger of losing your home ?
( nosey aren't I !!LOL )
