Just a Question
By: George Date: March 8, 2013, 9:39 am
---------------------------------------------------------
What could you imagine to be so pleasing, without a physical
body? If you can's feel, touch, smell, taste, how then can we
enjoy pleasure? If there is no pleasure how could one find
satisfaction? What could one imagine being great about Heaven?
Besides the obvious Christian answer being with God. Could there
really exist a place where spirits having no physical body yet
enjoy eternity? I love music I mean I really love music but even
I turn the radio of sometimes. I cant imagine singing praise for
eternity would justify any sort of enjoyment. What are some of
the things you guys imagine will be so great in the afterlife
granted you make it to heaven? Being with God and seeing past
family and friends are not answers I care to hear, Ive heard
that before. What else?
And I will go ahead and say the redundant statement, How dare he
question what could be pleasing besides the fact he would be
with God! ;) I know, I know, forgive me for asking ;D

^ I've been told that a lot of time is spent in Paradise on the
arts. The bodies there are as capable of "feeling" things as
the physical bodies we have here.
Ever wonder why some children are born child prodigies? They
studied in Paradise before being born on the earth. Yes,
creativity in Heaven -- creating lovely and enjoyable things --
is quite important there. William Blake once stunned someone
by telling them some of his own paintings were based on
paintings he had seen in Paradise -- don't quote me now, but I
think he said they were in Jerusalem.
Let me confess yet another secret now. In my twenties, I tried
my hand at composing music and got nowhere. About ten years ago,
I was driving along (I remember the exact spot) when I was
commanded (by an angelic voice) to start composing music. I
said I couldn't, I had tried and failed. I was told never mind
that, I would find that I could write music if I tried again.
So I tried it again. And I could.
Do not think, however, that it was a breeze. I had to study,
and I mean study a lot. How high can a trombone go? It's
quite complicated. Most of my pieces were Psalms. I used the
King James Version and used each word once and only once. And
to this day, none of them has been performed publicly. I made
a couple attempts to get some performed but met with defeat
every time. When composing music, it wasn't always "me"
doing the composing -- not the "earthly" me anyway. As I
meditated on a phrase, it was like a prayer going up, and then
the music would come down. Believe me, I know some of the
Psalms very well since I spent so much time on some of them.
So one day while I was composing, my mind went to the fact none
of them had ever been performed; and I was thinking of one piece
in particular; and an angel told me I would hear it in Heaven.
He would see to it. They love music in Heaven.
We should believe the story about Handel then. The music to the
Messiah came down from Heaven. He saw visions when writing it,
so he said; and I can believe it.
Some things are invented first too in Heaven. Then when Heaven
wants them to be invented on the earth, down they come. If you
ever wondered why some things are invented at almost the same
time by different people, now you know. Heaven doesn't always
rely on one person to get something done.

I'm not sure I can adequately explain what I want to say about
this. I don't think the pleasure we have in a physical body even
compares to the pleasure we would have in a spirit body. Our
physical body that we have now hinders us from enjoying so many
things that in a spirit body we would be able to enjoy on a much
grander scale. For example, imagine the most beautiful place
you've ever seen and yet that place is like a black and white
image and seems lifeless in comparison to what you would see and
experience in a spirit body. In a spirit body we are more
attuned to everything and are able to even become a part of
everything and all life. There is a feeling of oneness in the
spirit body. Our senses in a spirit body are off the scale. The
music there makes the music here seem like noise. Everything
there praises God. In a spirit body we feel only peace, love,
and happiness. We are overcome with the love from God and love
for each other and all life. Being in a spirit body gives whole
new meaning to living, that's when we really know what life is.
That's when we know and understand who we really are.

Has anyone else here read Rebecca Springer's book about her
vision when she was so ill? I think it took a lot of courage
for her to write it since some details sound "wrong" when you
read it. Some of the things she says don't line up exactly
with descriptions of "Heaven" in the Bible. However, I think
the matter is cleared up if we suppose she was in Paradise and
not in "Heaven" as she thought. The details that sound
"wrong" tell me she wrote honestly.
I also noticed two interesting things in reading that book. She
never mentions any animals; and while she talks about families
being together, they seem limited to about three generations,
maybe four or five. Those details also suggested to me she was
in Paradise.
I bought the book when my sister recommended it; but I did find
it online. It's 176 pages.

1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face ; now I
know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have
been fully known.
According to Paul, we only have partial senses now, so the
premise of the question is flawed.
1 Corinthians 2:9
but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND
EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."

for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of
God.

Heartsong's description I would have to share in.
Additionally, I do have to say that the heavenly choir and music
is most beautiful. The knowing and experiencing the oneness with
all is incomparable to anything else. It is also very pleasant
to be in more than one place at a time... and those places are
not limited to this planet either.

No need for forgiving you. Hadn't first judged you for what you
asked.
