There's a song called "Touching Heaven Changing Earth". It
speaks about prayer to heal the land of people and for the
revival to start with us. I think this shows the importance of
prayer and to set the example of love and light to others.
On another forum, the topic was about a demonstration against
the President of a Middle Eastern country. There were Muslims
who were protecting the Christians while they were praying and
then the Christians were protecting the Muslims. These Muslims
and Christians were setting the example of love, peace and
light. I was asked do you really think that a few good people
will change anything? I said yes because light overcomes
darkness, love overcomes hate. And this causes a ripple effect
that extends to many others. It brings a change to the lives of
many others.

Amen. It is good to know about something changing for the
positive. Not much seems to change "upward"these days, so it is
wonderful to know that somewhere, with someone, change is
happening!! ✟

I don't think we hear the good news stories very much, only the
bad ones. I think there are many good, positive things happening
in the world and with that is positive change.

[/quote]I think so. It may not look like at it on the surface;
but I do think that it is more blessed to give than to receive.
When we give to others, it makes us feel better about
ourselves. When we sit around and think we need others to do
things for us, we can make ourselves miserable.

I see this and know we must indeed do these things. I believe
our own change comes as we believe the things that He has said
in the word.
As you say..When we 'give thanks in all things'. Rejoice
evermore. Fear not. And, believe that He will bring us safely
to the Shore. ✟
