Two of all animal may relate to differing family types.
And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of
every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall
be male and female (Genesis 6:19).

Genesis 6:19–20, 7:14
Can you even imagine it? Dinosaurs on the ark? It is so very
cool to think about. And we can be sure they were there because
the Bible tells us that every kind of air-breathing,
land-dwelling animal went aboard. Now, Noah did not know of the
word dinosaur back then. In fact, that word was made up in 1841
to describe land animals found that had very unique bone
structures, uncommon to other animals. Dinosaur literally means
“Terrible Lizard.”
But we do know what God tells us—that all the kinds of land
animals were on the ark. Well, that just had to include the
dinosaur kinds, too!

I would then ask you, what was the purpose of saving these giant
lizards or dinosaurs If God knew the atmosphere after the flood
was not going to be able to sustain there large breed and they
were going to die anyway??? The purpose of taking a male and
female of every land dwelling air breathing animal was so they
could continue after the flood, not so they could suffer
extinction after the flood which they apparently did very
shortly after the flood if one is to believe they made it
through the flood...
How big was the ark? About 440 feet long, 73 feet wide,
and 43 feet high. You would also have to have food and water
for the dinosaurs and other animals. And what about clean-up?
How many people are employed to feed and clean up after the
animals in one zoo?
I don't think Genesis is talking about physical events.

Kerry
''I don't think Genesis is talking about physical events.''

Now perhaps people will put their penny worth here.
N.B.
my point about size. !!
I wonder how the locals may have reacted to those 'other'
dinosaurs. let alone all that rain & Noahs Ark building..

coffee can you get at the local Coffee Shop for a dime (ten of
those pennies) ? A bottomless cup or...?

What is a dinosaur anyway? Supposedly just a big
creature that isn't around today. Were they ever around? If they
were, when was that? You want to open up a can of worms with
regard to the age of the earth, etc.
What would be the purpose of opening up the can? Are you a
fisherman? If yes, what are you fishing for?
I could answer with some guesses or surmises, but they wouldn't
be anything more than that.
God's message in the story of Noah and the ark was not, I
believe, about dinosaurs.

Guess away.
I'snt it what we do to see if our thoughts really match up with
the 'Living Word' of our Lord & Father.
Are we not supposed to try & work out our indivual 'walk'??
