Innocence

Matthew 19:13-15
King James Version (KJV)
13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he
should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples
rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not,
to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
I often here people speak on this scripture... I think what is
the most common aspect that people emphasize is the trust...
Trust of the little children who never question they just trust
you 100%... Another aspect I think is equally important but
rarely spoke of is the Innocence of little children... I know
for me there is just something so precious about little children
who can just do no wrong by you... I think there is a certain
age where they can't do know wrong... They are just to little to
know any better...
While I don't think God looks at us as little children who just
can't do any wrong or just don't know any better, I do think
that when we can turn from our earthly ways... Lose our sin
nature, We then have a type of innocence in the eyes of our
Father that we can just do no wrong... In a way we to become
sinless... I've even been told that we can become sinless. Die
to sin, reborn a New sinless self...

Amen G,
Here is a couple of verses of a little song I wrote,
Back to the garden, won't you come with me
Back to a life of love and liberty
Back to the way we were before the fall
Brother and sister here the Spirit's call
Walking with Jesus in the cool of the day
Living by every word His Spirit would say
Living faith, it's the higher way
Walking in the Spirit each and everyday

Sounds like a beautiful song Justin.
I am glad to have 'met' you here in cyber space. :)
It seems that we have had a similar walk with the Lord re
insight and Word.
Thank you for the insights you have shared here. I always have a
hard time expressing things in the written word, I like the face
to face encounters.
So, for me, I have been blessed to see the things written.
I may not be around for a while.
Keep your hand in His. Be blessed always.....H

I am not sure Justin that I wont to go back to the garden before
the fall.
Whatever "they" had was not enough to stop the nature of sin
taking hold. I don't believe that the garden experience is our
destination, it was a start and for a while it looked like the
best but I am sure that the Lord has something even better.
James
