Common phrases

The other day while reading a scripture in a thread I thought of
a common phrase alot of people use, Which seem to tie into the
scripture... for example...
1 Samuel 17:4
King James Version (KJV)
4 And there went out a champion out of the camp of the
Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits
and a span.
...
49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone,
and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the
stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the
earth.

Now this isn't the scripture or phrase that I read or thought
about the other day... BUT I will wait and give you guys a
chance to add in and see what you guys come up with, or see if
anyone thinks of the original phrase and scripture that made me
think of this... It is a good one!!! If I don't see it by lets
say tomorrow evening I will post it...

scripture that is connected to the saying ;) And No I still

You guys are all around it... I think you may be thinking to
early in Genesis Kerry...
