Where did they go???

What happen???
HTML http://www.funkidslive.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/Walking-With-Dinosaurs.jpg
The subject of Dinosaurs seems to bring up all types of myths,
theories, concepts, ideas... Brings up the biggest question, How
old is the earth???
Some believe that the bible is literal and that the six day
creation story was literally six twenty four hour days...
Genesis 1:31
King James Version (KJV)
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was
very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
It is believed that by counting back years from Jesus to Adam
that the earth is just over 6,000 years old... It is believed
that the flood of Noah's day was the beginning of the downfall
of the dinosaur... After the flood the atmosphere changed,
Animals and humans began to eat meat...
Genesis 9:2-3
King James Version (KJV)
2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every
beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all
that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea;
into your hand are they delivered.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as
the green herb have I given you all things.
between the dinosaur no longer able to withstand the new
atmosphere and combined with being hunted, they went extinct...
Another theory is that the bible can not be taken literal as a
time line dating backwards just over 6,000 yrs... It is thought
that the six day creation was actually 6,000 yrs
2 Peter 3:8
King James Version (KJV)
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day
is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as
one day.

Psalm 90:4
King James Version (KJV)
4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it
is past, and as a watch in the night.
So it can be said that the earth is millions of years old and
that the event could have happen millions of years ago...
Science agrees with the second theory that the earth is millions
if not billions of years old BUT some scientist believe that a
huge meteor hit earth creating a huge dust cloud that blocked
out the sun and this was what caused the extinction of the
dinosaur...

I just thought it would be interesting to see what some of you
guys thought or believe, see what your opinion is on the
matter... I think it is fair to say we all can just give our
personal opinions and beliefs...
To me the most realistic theory that I have heard is that man
and animal killed off the dinosaur just as man and animal has
killed off many many other animals and plants... I'm not to sure
about the whole gigantic meteor hitting earth theory... I am no
scientist and have done zero research on the meteor theory or
evidence so I am just saying what sounds more realistic...
Maybe you guys would care to share your thoughts??? Or add to
the questions... LOL

I believe that they was here, then they was not, for the Lord
took 'em.
This is one that comes around. :) And fun.
I believe they were pre flood. I live near Drumheller....one of
the biggest dinosaur graves in the world. There is a huge museum
there, and they are still finding more around here.

So many , many roamed the
area here " back then"....I wonder when 'back then" was :D
I just hope I don't go to sleep one night, global warming
happens, and when I wake up all the dormant eggs HATCH AND
WALK!!!! hahaha!
I will "watch this space". :P

George wrote - After the flood the atmosphere changed, Animals
and humans began to eat meat...
Unlike you George I believe man was meat eating from the word
go.
Sacrifice contains within it the participation of both parties
in a covenant meal, seen in the law by the priest who ate of the
altar.
This makes me inclined to believe that Able ate some of the
sheep he offered to God, also when Noah was instructed to take
animals into the Ark he was told to take clean and unclean, pre
law, pre flood, I believe this also indicates that
man was eating from the clean animals.
Where all the big lizards went I do not know, I am just glad
they went.

Okay James, that would depend on when " the word go" was?
If you mean before the fall, I am then not with you there.
God said Genesis 1:29
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the
which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be
for meat. I don't read He said- " go kill and eat" ;)

Just to clear this up I stated It is believed... Not that I
believe... I didn't state what I believe other than I think man
and animal was the cause of extinction rather than a gigantic
meteor... Just wanted to clarify...

Know what the dinosaurs make me wonder?
Makes me wonder what our being here will have created as a
resource for the next predominant living creature on this
planet.
LOL, sounds somewhat fatalistic doesn't it?

Interesting point Leaf..2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in
the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and
the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and
the works that are therein shall be burned up.
And there will be a new heaven and a new earth...will we be "in
heaven" or on the new earth? And, would that make "the new
earth"= "Heaven"?
Yes, interesting indeed. :D
