       Someday

       Some one sent this to me tonight in an email. I'm not sure that
       I understand it, or maybe I just don't quite agree with it.
       "Someday, aftering mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and
       gravity, we shall harness for God the energies of love, and
       then, for the second time in the history of the world, man will
       have discovered fire."

       If God is a consuming fire. And God is love...is he saying
       someday someone "we" will harness God?!!

       I think he's saying we will harness the love-nature God gave us.
       Man too has a nature of fire.  I've heard of de Chardin but
       really never read anything he wrote, but that's my guess.
