Helen tried to post in here today…also tried to login, but was
refused all.
So I’m here testing to see if my account still work!
Glad to see it does.

It’s still a bit nippy in Canada , hopefully warming up soon.

it's good you could. Perhaps the last resort for her would be
to register again.
I don't log out, so I don't have that problem.
It was raining, raining, raining here for days with breaks
though so I could get some gardening done. Today's it's in the
eighties!

Suddenly wondered if this Site was still alive and well, plus
its members!
Dave and I are still in the land of the living …one foot here
and one foot There .
He is 88 next birthday , I’m turned 83 last month !
Crazy funny when we remember how young we all were when we first
started , Was that in the late 80’s I forget .
I do remember that we were all on Trevor’s site UK Christian
forum …he was a good guy.
Anyway I was just thinking of Kerry and everyone and wondered
how or if we are all still this side of the veil .
I tried three time to use my old User name and password to
login , but it refuses it , say no such name .
Hence I’m posting here as I can’t login…

You both have me beat since I'm only 73. My big joy now is
working in my garden. Sometimes I get insights into Scripture
that way, not a lot, but sometimes.
I've told Jesus I'm ready to go when he wants; but as long as my
prayers are doing any good and he wants me to stay with my feet
on the earth, that's okay too. I do believe God is Good and
not bossy or arrogant -- so Heaven does things when someone on
the earth asks.
Some may call me superstitious, but I believe we humans even
influence the weather. Hurricanes, floods and the like are the
work of the Dark Side and being called forth by negative
thoughts of humans.
Again, good to hear from you and Dave.

Hello Helen and Dave! Wishing you the best. I have declining
energy because of health issues because of my age. I'm happy to
hear that you are doing relatively well despite many health
issues.
I also think I'm ready if and when God calls me. Now is the
time for prayer and the wonders of nature that leads us to
praise and thanksgiving.
That is how it should be for people our age.
May God bless you both and everyone here at LGO. :)

Yay! I got on okay this time…it’s my 4th try :)…maybe you
fiddled with something Kerry and corrected it!
It makes me laugh to think how old we have all gotten …how
did time fly by so fast .
Holland , glad that you are hanging on …🙏🙏
We will all have to stay around as long as the Lord wants us
here .
The thing is at 83 and 87 we do feel somewhat sidelined
…especially odd because since our 30’s we were always very
involved in meetings , fellowship , and encouraging younger
ones.
Like you both said …”when He calls , we’ll be ready and answer
.” I think Dave will go into his 90’s longevity is in his
genes.
I believe the Lord gave me three years ( back in 2014 ) when I
was sick and thought maybe my time was up …I asked , and 99% am
sure he told me 2029. Maybe, maybe not ..time will tell how good
my spiritual hearing is :D

do) in their churches is changing.
My spiritual sight and hearing are almost nonexistent now.
That bothered me a lot for a while -- then I remembered what
Paul said about gifts ceasing -- with only Love left. Now I
listen to the birds when gardening. Sometimes they seem to be
calling to each other to let others know where they are.
Sometimes they seem to singing for the fun of it; and I do
believe they are praising God. As the Psalm puts it, Let every
thing that hath breath praise the LORD. I think some of them
do. I have lots of wild strawberries and am transplanting them
to use as ground cover in the flower beds. The birds love those
tiny strawberries, and I love seeing them visiting.
I see Alberta might vote on leaving Canada and joining the US.
Do you have any ideas on that? It's okay too if you don't want
to discuss politics. My view is I think Canada is the best
neighbor we could ask for. The long border is amazing since
neither side felt the other was threatening to invade. Imagine
how much money it would cost to put armies on both sides.

Hey Helen, good to hear from you and Dave.
I'm still hanging in there. Health issues but I guess that's
part of getting older. Could be worse so I'm thankful that it's
not.
I'm trying to stay positive and upbeat and not be discouraged as
I observe what is happening in this country. Politics seems to
be dividing people more than ever and there are those who are
deliberately and calculatingly gaslighting and focusing on what
they know will manipulate the emotions and actions of people for
their own goals and interests. I hope the majority of people
will come to realize how they're being manipulated, brainwashed,
and used for selfish and politically motivated ambition. I
believe they will.
