Hi, I’m mark whittington, CB reject
While it's not my
job to judge who's blessed for being persecuted and cast out,
I'm fairly sure that people who are never persecuted or cast out
might want to start worrying if they could be missing a
blessing.
Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they
shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you,
and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
I was rejected from that place too; and I was never told why.
It remains a mystery. All I have are theories. Not that I
minded that much at being evicted. I also never knew why you
got the boot. I didn't see you receiving warnings. Did they
tell you what you did wrong? If it bores you to talk about it
or you don't want to spend time on it, feel free to ignore my
prying questions. I sometimes got the idea that moderators
there felt the only reason they needed to ban someone was they
felt like it. A whim came over them and they had the power to
act on it.
Maybe I wasn't blessed for being cast out, but I felt like it.
I wasn't wasting so much time.

Christian with the ideas about God that Constantine had?

Similar to you, yeh; no warning, and I already was pretty much
not posting there, def not replying with anything very
fractious, at least near as i could say. I mostly miss the DB I
had developed on my homepage there tbh, would be nice if I could
get even a copypaste of it, but no one is replying to email
yeh, something like that? Let’s just say that I have
embraced *No son of man may die for another’s sins, No one has
ever gone up to heaven...* etc
well, today it is known as “Christianity” I guess, the
belief that one might become immortal and have an “afterlife”
despite *I came that you might have LIFE, more abundantly, There
is only One Immortal, even He who seeks to save his (life)soul
shall lose it,* etc, but lest i be misunderstood, Jesus gave
some of the highest praise to the Roman Centurion (cult of Sol)
@ *I have not seen such faith in anyone of Israel* so i don’t
mean it as a quality judgement or anything, just a descriptor

Abundant life. Is that like eternal life for cult of sol?
well, moved into the “now” i guess, sure :)
“Aion: A space of time; an age”
(rather than “forever,” the way we define eternity now)
So iow abundant life is now, eternal life—for the cult of
sol—involves an afterlife, immortality, all the things implied
by defining “eternal” as “forever and ever,” and the
imagining/dwelling on “tomorrow” that we find many/most xtians
involved in?

I ought to have asked earlier. Do you mind me addressing you as
Mark or would you rather I address you by bbyrd009?
I just had a "now" moment, then another one just now. I keep on
having them. Is that what cult of sol means by everlasting?
What does cult of sol or "Christianity" say about what the
centurion had faith about as far as you understand or know?

Welcome to Love God Only, bbyrd009!
For some reason, I seem to remember you from the True2Ourselves
forum. I do not remember you being on the Christianity Board.
If you had been banned from there, like Kerry, it is a mark of
honor to have been banned. There are many white supremacists
there.
Again, welcome! :D

Hi Mark,
CB continues .... many have left, some have been banned. Some
seem to be able to say exactly what they want and are just
allowed to continue. I cannot say I was banned for anything I
said, but I was banned by proxy once ( linked to siding with
Helen who was banned for suggesting people also go to another
forum )
I do question why I keep staying there, it’s so draining at
times x
Anyway nice to see you here, I appreciate the occasion link to
discussions as it reminds me to check this forum out xx
Rita
