       They got the message right.  It amazes me how some conceive of
       God as angry or insecure.

       Yes they did. That's why I like that song.
       It's discouraging to me how some people view and speak about
       God. I've felt like God is a good father ever since I was a
       small child which is surprising considering what I heard
       preachers saying about God. I would go home and have nightmares
       after their sermons.

       religiously insane on the topic.   They have an idol in my
       opinion; and they surely need our prayers, but then too so do
       the people they preach too, especially young children.  It may
       shock some people; but I think it better to be an atheist than
       to believe in a God of horrors.

       If I really believed that God is the way those preachers
       described, I probably would be an atheist.
