"Christian" is not much of a word that I like...
Just like the word 'Gay' no longer means a happy and
carefree person... and the youth use the word 'wicked' , to mean
wonderful/excellent....so the word "christian"...I am not sure I
like either....
When I think of Christians it conveys to me, strong, steady
men and women facing the lions in an arena ...NOT what is called
a christian today!!!
Non-believers need to come to a knowledge of the truth about
all that Jesus Christ has done for them...it brings peace and
fellowship with God.
...While we were yet enemies Christ died for the ungodly...

I think that Jesus will save anyone that he wills. He has the
sovereignty needed to accomplish it. I do not think that we are
able to discern through the reading of the Scriptures who is to
be saved and who is to be numbered among the lost. I believe
that we must be humble about this because pride leads invariably
to humiliation.
I think that we can pray for those that have gone before us in
death. I have optimism in the justice and lovingkindness of
Christ.

so you think the Saviour of the World has failed, is failing and

The Savior of the World has not failed in any way, good chap.
Not everyone will surrender their pride, confess their sin and
accept Christ as Savior, if they happen to learn of him as they
live their lives. There are many people that will reject Heaven
and cling to Hell as their place. Self love and self hatred is
their problem. They cannot abandon self to find their real
selves in the reality of the fullness of Christ, of his body.
They do not want to become part of that reality.

you are exactly right but what they cannot do and will not do is
the problem that the Saviour can undo and does imho even for
those who think they can do - twinc
