Yes Meshak. We can proceed with the common usage definition
such as is found in Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary:
Christianity
noun,1: the religion derived from Jesus Christ, based on the
Bible as Sacred Scripture, and professed by Eastern, Roman
Catholic, and Protestant bodies. 2: conformity to the Christian
religion. 3: the practice of Christianity.

Since it is very slow forum, I would like to give my own
perspectives.
Christianity is all about Jesus and His teachings.
And Christians are supposed to be His followers.
Mainly Jesus' mission is spreading about what God's kingdom is
all about.
God's kingdom is about God and Jesus' love and peace.
And if we believe in God and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior,
and stirve to live by their teachings, we will inherit eternal
life and be in the everlasting peaceful earth and heaven.
thank you.

I would like to add that Jesus was sent to us by His Father, the
God, to accomplish the missions given by Him.
All Jesus' word was given by His Father.
Jesus' word is all written in the book of the gospels; Matthew,
Mark, Luke and John in the New Testament.
I think that sums up my perspectives of Christianity.
thank you:)

Hi, Meshak -
Ya, I can be very slow that's for sure :).
What do you think God is? Is He like an old man on a throne?
I think Christianity is the absolute Truth about Consciousness.

God is a spiritual being. Jesus is also a spiritual being now.
And I would like to voice what Jesus wants His followers to do
as His followers.
He gave them a mission to spread all Jesus taught them while
Jesus was on earth.
Jesus teachings are not just a concept. He gave us instruction
how to please God.
Jesus wants us to live godly, pure and holy like him. that's the
mission His Father gave Him.
thanks for you question and comment, friend:).

I would like to list what Jesus taught randomly.
This came to my mind:
1)His followers are not of the world:
Meaning we live by Jesus' law or teachings, not by secular law.
If the government have a unscriptural law we should not
cooperate with them.
Because we are not of the world, we should not get involed with
world's affairs or politcs.
Our mission is spreading God's kingdom.
All my perspectives are from Jesus' word; got from 4 gospels.

this is what the Scripture says about "not of the world":
John 15:19
If you belonged to the
world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong
to the
world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the
world hates you.
John 17:9
I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those
you have
given me, for they are yours.
John 17:14
I have given them your word and the world has
hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of
the world.
John 17:15
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that
you protect
them from the evil one.
.John 17:16
They are not of the world,
even as I am not of it.
.John 18:36
Jesus said, "My
kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would
fight to prevent my
arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place."
