When one falls in love for the first time, for many, because of
its intensity, it is a religious experience or something akin to
it. For me, this song is very much about that kind of
experience. It is by the Searchers, called "Needles and Pins".

^ I remember asking someone, "What are pinsas?" I didn't know
what they meant. I can't remember who I asked. Probably not my
Mother since she would have been listening to something else.
It must have been one of my sisters.
