Isa 65 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless
himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth
shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are
forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
       [color=blue]
Today I will bless myself by the God of truth.
Whatever anyone says I do have the last word, I can bless me by
       the God of truth.
Let who will, charge me with folly , upbraid me for not doing
what I aught or tell me off for what I have not done. At the
end of any conversation I can bless me.
Not live in the past, for the former troubles are no more.
Lord today you have hidden my failings behind your back , let me
leave my old self in the grave and live in the truth of a God
       who will not lie.

       AMEN!! Good post!
Yes, that reminds me of Judges 17
"And there was a man of mount Ephraim, whose name was Micah.
2 And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of
silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and
spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I
took it. And his mother said, Blessed be thou of the Lord, my
       son".
The wise mother knew the power of blessing and cursing! We so
often forget the power of our words.
       Proverbs 26:2
"As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the
       curse causeless shall not come."
No one can curse us if there is no 'hook' or place found in us.
This son had been left wide open! She knew it and quickly
       'covered him'.
       Num 6
22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 23 Speak unto Aaron
and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the
children of Israel, saying unto them,
24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:25 The Lord make his face
shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:26 The Lord lift up
his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
27 And they ( Aaron and priests) shall put My Name upon the
children of Israel, and I will bless them.
For years Dave and I did this just before our kids went off to
       school every morning.
       8) The power of words!!!!

       Amen, amen AMEN!
Just this past week while hubby and I were driving somewhere a
song came on the radio and one of the verses was scriptural: "o'
       death where is your sting?"
Gave me cause to say... About this song and the biblical verse:
o' death where is thy sting, Jesus said to let the dead bury the
dead and so this life can be considered death.
Then, when we are born into the Spirit and are dead to the
flesh, having been crucified into the Spirit, all the drama and
pain producing things of life lose their sting and are no longer
important. Yes, O death, where is thy sting? when we now live in
the joy and all the fruit of the Spirit.
Praise God for Him having drawn us to Him! Hallelujah!
