Here is another good song brought into the Marvel universe's
Guardians of the Galaxy, Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain":

It is interesting how well the computer graphics has been
revised for this . . . :D

I don't have my earbuds with me right now but I know the song
"The Chain" which I dig in a 70's sort of way. I know the band
is British but this song reminds me of keening in the
"hillbilly" way by tone, voice, lyric. I suppose that this form
originated in the Isles anyway.
The superhero genre I kind of know by the Batman but that's
about it unless it's about Zorro back in the day.
It seems like everyone's a "dancer" these days trying to
entertain. Whatever happened to The 5 Man Electrical Band? Now
anyone with a sampler backtrack and a mic wants to shout their
feelings at me. Especially when they're blasting by in their
cars at 7 in the morning. Do I really need to watch a prancing
male for fun? I think I'd rather listen to Clint Eastwood try to
sing :P
crotchety para . . . . :)

Yes, para, it did.

The vintage, of course, is older. Hercules and Theseus are the
earliest, I understand in Western culture. The hero myths are
important for clarifying cultural values of a civilization.
What the hero approves or rejects is usually what the society
approves of or rejects . . .

to be potty . . . :D

The characters of this movie have some depth to them which is
not usually thought possible for characters based on a comic
book. Below is the meeting of four of the characters for the
first time. At that point they are in conflict with each other
seeking their own objectives. For Peter Quill, Star Lord, it is
to sell an orb for a profit, for Gamora, it is to steal the orb
from Peter and sell it to her own source, for Rocket and Groot,
it is to to apprehend Peter to collect a bounty. The detailing
of character development in the film is quite good.
Here it is: (Warning: one vulgar word appears at the end)

There is an interesting Redbone, "Come and Get Your Love"
performance on The Midnight Special. It involves Native
American dancing. I hope you all enjoy it!

I suppose they have made a sizable amount of money recently from
The Guardians of the Galaxy movies. If they have, I'm sure
they're thankful for the added income. :D
