       Could someone sin against God?
       Could someone commit a sin without his knowledge?
       Actually, a person answers these questions based on what he
       thinks/believes what sin is.

       People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines
       their motives (Proverbs 16:2).
       It's intentions that count. We can intend to ignore our
       conscience, we can intend to ignore or go against what we
       understand to be true. God isn't hurt about it. We're "punished"
       by the wrong choices themselves until we tire of them and intend
       to do better.
