Fake News
By: Kerry Date: October 28, 2016, 5:36 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Don't take me seriously now since this is fake news! It's a
lie!
The Clinton campaign recently played the Charlie Rich favorite,
"When We Get Behind Closed Doors" at an event in Florida.
Campaign spokesman Nick Merrill told a reporter from the New
York Times reporter it had been adopted by their official
campaign song and would be played at all future campaign events.
Jason Miller, Trump spokesman for the Trump campaign, tweeted,
"We are surprised. We thought they would go for Hillary's
fav -- Tammy Wynette's 'Stand By Your Man'." That was followed
by Merrill tweeting back, "What would the Trump campaign know
about a woman standing by her man?"

The story of campaign songs continued today as Jason Miller
announced that the Trump campaign would be using the Waylon's
Jennings song "I've Always Been Crazy." It was used once
today in New Hampshire, but after the rally campaign manager
Kellyanne Conway said Miller had been misled by a joking staffer
and that it was not going to be used again. Conway declined
to name the staffer but said he was no longer with the campaign.
Instead they were going to use Patsy Cline's Crazy to appeal
to women.
Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill tweeted, "If they wamt
Patsy Cline, why not go with I Fall to Pieces?"

CBC -- 30 October, 2016
Muslims Move to Legalize Polygamy in Canada
Liberal MP Omar Alghabra, already well known for his advocacy
of sharia law, asked his colleagues in Parliament yesterday,
"Don't you think it's time we consider making polygamy legal in
Canada? What's so bad about it anyway? Jews and Christians
have their Bibles where men had more than one wife, so what's
the big deal? If you don't like it, fine, you needn't practice
it; but why prohibit it to Muslims who would like to have the
type of marriage their religion dictates?"
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took the floor in support of
Algahabra, saying, "Isn't it time we move past cultural biases
and insularity and allow people of all religions to practice
their faith with freedom? Isn't now the time to act? It will
come sooner or later. Why not adopt it now when there are
eleven Muslim MPs? Should we wait until they are in the
majority to pass it?"
Conservative Senator Salma Ataullahjan told the CBC in an
interview later she had no objections as long as a man could
support more than one wife. "Our religion teaches that a man be
able to support his wives. Common sense also informs us that
we should be fiscally responsible and not encourage men to have
more wives and children than they can support." She said if a
man could not support his wives, the law should force him to
seek divorces. "We should not encourage anyone to become a
burden on the public dole."

Some satire from the New Yorker
HTML http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/queen-offers-to-restore-british-rule-over-united-states:<br
/>
LONDON (The Borowitz Report)—In an unexpected televised
address on Saturday, Queen Elizabeth II offered to restore
British rule over the United States of America.
Addressing the American people from her office in Buckingham
Palace, the Queen said that she was making the offer “in
recognition of the desperate situation you now find yourselves
in.”
“This two-hundred-and-forty-year experiment in self-rule began
with the best of intentions, but I think we can all agree that
it didn’t end well,” she said.
The Queen urged Americans to write in her name on Election Day,
after which the transition to British rule could begin “with a
minimum of bother.”
Elizabeth acknowledged that, in the wake of Brexit, Americans
might justifiably be alarmed about being governed by the British
parliamentary system, but she reassured them, “Parliament would
play no role in this deal. This would be an old-school monarchy.
Just me, and then, assuming you’d rather not have Charles, we
could go straight to William and those children of his who have
mesmerized you so.”
Using the closing moments of her speech to tout her credentials,
the Queen made it clear that she has never used e-mail and has
only had sex with one person “very occasionally.”
This is interesting -- a real news story from CNN reporting on
how ABC faked a story!
HTML http://money.cnn.com/2016/11/04/media/abc-news-stage-live-shot/index.html?iid=ob_lockedrail_topeditorial
ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis stood in a field in
Woodruff, South Carolina, and relayed the gruesome details of
how a 30-year-old woman had been held captive in a storage
container allegedly by a registered sex offender.
Behind her, yellow police tape with the words "SHERIFF'S LINE DO
NOT CROSS" flapped in the wind, indicating the scene of the
crime.
In fact, the police tape was tied to ABC News' own equipment
just off-camera, a photograph obtained by CNNMoney shows.
Sources with knowledge of the matter say the tape was placed
there by ABC News for the purpose of its inclusion in the live
shot.
The photograph, sent by an anonymous source, shows the tape
running no more than 30 feet and tied to camera stands at both
sides. In Davis' segment, which was broadcast on ABC's "Good
Morning America," it is impossible to tell where the tape
ends.
Johnson & Johnson's stock closed the day at $119.54 a share.
CEO Alex Gorsky said he had been expected a sharp rise following
the Trump win but added he was still pleased with the price of
the stock over the past five years. "And to think you could have
bought it at sixty one dollars back in 2012," Gorsky said, "It
is really a great stock to own. Tremendous."
A spokesman for the company said he expected the price might
rise to $150 next year. "Even $250 a share is possible," he
said. "We'll know a lot more soon when the latest figures for
Tylenol sales come in. We expect sales for all headache
medicines to rise sharply with Donald Trump in the White House."
Bayer showed only a small up-tick in its price, closing at 63.68
Euros a share. Bayer CEO Werner Baumann could not be reached for
comment; but analysts expect the Trump Administration will
continue the anti-trust investigation into the merger with
Monsanto and join several states in opposing it. Philip Perdue
from Morgan Stanley said, "If they want to make America great
again, they cannot permit a German company to swallow up an
American company like that. Even if aspirin sales soar, around
the world, Bayer is not a company I can recommend owning in
2017."

President-elect Donald Trump said today he didn't want to live
in the White House.. "After seeing it, it's not really big
enough," he said, "and Obama doesn't want to leave Washington
until his daughters are both out of school. Why not let him
stay there? I'd rather live in Mount Vernon. If it was good
enough for George Washington, it's good enough for me. And all
that room and fresh air. Who wants to live in Washington DC
anyway?"
