Society is a masked ball, where everyone hides his real
character, and reveals it by hiding.
Everyone hides their real self. They abide by the rules,
and follow society. But, in reality they are a completely
different person. You can be nice and kind on the outside, but
on the inside you still will have that inner evil. Piggy for
instance, he seemed nice and smart in the book at the beginning,
but towards the end he blew up on Jack. Have you ever met a
super nice person, and thought there is no one nicer in the
world! Then one day you are sitting at the lunch table, and
someone takes a piece of that super nice person’s food, or sits
in their spot. Then they absolutely blow up. You may call them
over dramatic, but maybe they are just sick and tired of always
being walked over and forgotten about. My point is, even just a
simple breaking of the rules, can tear the place apart. The true
person comes out when there are no rules, and you don’t have to
listen to anyone. That is when TRUE chaos begins.

But why in the real world a lot of people are single out and
left out of the society. Then they become criminals and the "bad
guys"

"Law is order in liberty, and without order liberty is social
chaos."
This quote can represent a good part of the book. I actually
feel like it represents a lot of the book. Their conch was
there law on the island. Once the boys split up and Jack became
a total savage, it was complete chaos. There were no more rules,
no law, nothing. Everyone started doing what they wanted and it
became very crazy. Imagine if in the US there were no laws it
would not be a safe place to live in because everyone would be
doing what they wanted and getting away with it because there
are no rules for them to follow.

Not really. There hasn't really been an incident where we start
to lose civilization. I guess sometimes if you are hanging out
with your friends, and you don't have any rules on what to do,
or anything to follow. Then your friends can get out of control.
But, no Hunter, I have never really experienced something like
that. Thank you for your time.

"Law is order in liberty, and without order liberty is social
chaos." I think this is very true because without any rules
everything would be chaos. It showed us that in the book by them
having the conch but once they started not following the rules
of the conch everything started going really bad. In real life
this happens a lot like when little kids don't have adults
around they don't have any rules and it turns into chaos. In my
life sometimes when there aren't adults around we don't always
do the right things and sometimes it turns into chaos.

"Law is order in liberty, and without order liberty is social
chaos." This quote connects to the Lord of the Flies because
when they first arrived at the island they actually had order
for quite a while, but then they started doing things their way.
They had a conch which gave everyone rules, but people when
people started to realize the conch was just a conch they began
to turn into different people. Rules were no longer a part of
their lives. This quote connects to the world because without
rules they're would murder and such. This quote connects to
myself because if I had no rules I would probably not be
civilized at all.

“Law is order in liberty, and without order liberty is social
chaos.”- Archbishop Ireland
This quote connects to Lord of the Flies in the way that when
Jack left the group and had no rules there was chaos, but when
Ralph was completely in charge there was order. Having no rules
gives you the ultimate liberty, but there would be no order and
without order, there is social chaos. Jack’s tribe turned into
savages when they had no rules like Ralph had. In the real
world, we currently have a society with rules. But too many
rules take away freedom. I believe the best balance is rules but
not too many of them. After a worldwide disaster in the future,
such as an economic collapse or breakdown of international
relations, there may be Martial law or no Rule of Law. Without
Rule of Law, The world would descend into chaos.
