To julian.P: I think if Jack were more like Ralph, the boys
would've been more organized. They would have probably been
rescued faster and there wouldn't be any boys murdered.

I believe some cops can abuse power. I believe some cops don't
respect some races of people and use there power in an unlawful
and unjustly way.

This quote connects to Lord of the Flies because power was the
main reason the whole island resorted to savagery. Ralph
represented a democracy. He believed in allowing everyone on the
island having a say on important issues. On the other hand, Jack
represented a dictatorship. He believed in being the leader and
ruling the whole group of boys. He didn’t allow anybody to have
a say. I think this connects to the real world because everyone
wants power. Power is the main goal for people. They want to
feel like they have a say.
