Sing me to sleep [closed, evening]

Alice sat in a tree, leaning back against the trunk. Her foot
dangled over the edge of the branch. A soft sigh escaped her
lips as she looked up at the sky. She sang. "Sing me to sleep
sing me to sleep and then leave me alone. Don't try to wake me
in the morning cause I will be gone."

A green squirrel watched a few trees away. Its captivated by her
voice, it dared not moved a muscle, afraid that the song would
stop.

Her head tilted softly, her white hair falling over her
shoulder. "Don't feel bad for me, I want you to know. Deep in
the cell of my heart, I will feel glad to go. Sing to me. Sing
to me. I don't want to wake up on my own anymore."

Wanting to get closer the squirrel decided to risk it and move
closer. As it move leafs fell from the trees he was in at that
time.

Her fingers frittered through her hair. "Don't feel bad for me,
I want you to know. Deep in the cell of my heart I really want
to go. There is another world, There is a better world...."
The singing softened and stopped as she heard the few leaves
fall. Her head turned around quickly.

Noticing the sing stop, logan kept moving blending in with the
other leaf.

Logan was only a branch or 2 higher, he was ebjoy alice sing.
This was hands down the best time he had here so far.... not
counting his last time with alice.

As the song finished she sighed and looked up. Seeing movement
on the branch above her, those silver orbs sparkle. "Is someone
listening to me?"
